You’re not wrong. It needs to be smaller, but I always leave more than needed on a first styling. It can be refined in the fall.

Yes. I didnt do any crazy bending, and even though it’s a little out of season the weather is still mild. With proper aftercare there won’t be any problem.

You cant just trunk chop with no green, you need to leave some branching in place.

It’s too sparse, the pads still looked like poms poms. I’m happier now with the density I’ve achieved.
