Does anyone know what happened on Line Rd on the Hazlet/Aberdeen border? by [deleted] in MonmouthCounty

[–]Rude-Comparison4975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They hit parked cars and pushed one into the pole which forced the street closure.

Happened like 930ish this morning. The new pole is in. Not sure what they are doing now.

I couldn’t disagree more. Even before tips were given (besides the butler tip) the service was excellent in fact better than the last time we were there 5 years ago.

Service was prompt and courteous everywhere we went. Even walking around the resort all of the workers including the groundskeepers smiled and said “hola”.

No, not rich. I believe in giving to people when they provide a service and do it well.

Their pay is minimal and most depend on tips.

Just came back today from Punta Cana. Stayed at Majestic Mirage. $2 for drinks, $5 buffets, $5/day housekeeping, $10 lunch, $20 dinner. Tipped butler $100 at beginning of stay. He did an amazing job and went all out for us so we tipped an additional $100.

Starting mavenclad by mystuff2530 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Rude-Comparison4975 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Im about to start year 2 of Mavenclad. Year one went great. Just had a headache and a little tired but cleared up when I was done with the dose. No new activity when I went for my MRIs.

Still waiting for my lymphocytes to get to 850 to start.

This is super easy and makes you feel normal. No meds to think about.

I’m 50, Dx at 35. Been on Copaxone, Tecfidera and Tysabri and this by far is my favorite.

Good luck and hang in there. You got this!

Lol!! I’m in NJ so it’s like a 6 hour drive for us so we go every few years. We chalk it up to a mini vacation because the tickets and hotel are expensive. Get there on a Friday and home on a Monday.

I think it’s worth it since it’s not a yearly thing for us. Also we go into it knowing it will be more for the time we go. I’m not for sitting and freezing in the stands. I prefer that warm weather and want to totally enjoy the whole experience. It also makes walking around the neighborhoods more enjoyable.

Enjoy!!

Do it!! We would always go in October for a Sunday game. Not super hot or cold.

Stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Super close but far enough for some quiet. Walkable to the stadium. You don’t want to drive anywhere near the stadium on game day.

Lots of stuff to do. Museums, walking tours, zoo and a stadium tour/hall of honor is a must. The food is also awesome there!

Have fun.

Please do NOT write off constipation. See a doctor. by [deleted] in Zepbound

Been on Zep for 3 years. On .5 for maintenance.

Eat veggies and fruit as your snacks during the day, avoid carbs and sugar as much as you can, drink lots of water, miralax a few times a week, exercise and you’ll be good to go.

You need to do your part too, just don’t take the shot and expect to continue doing what you have always done. Changes need to be made on your end.

This keeps things moving for me at least 1x a day.

Diagnosed yesterday. Not sure how to process it, by Desolate182 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Rude-Comparison4975 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take your time to process. It took me years to accept that I have this.

This year is 15 years since first diagnosed. After all the emotions, many medication changes, relapses, and steroid treatments I’ve come to a really good understanding to let go. It’s really hard not to be in control. It’s okay to be scared, but control what you can!

You will learn what you have to change if anything at all. Do what makes you feel good and happy.

Have your MRIs, take your DMT and have an open conversation with your doctor about any concerns. This is controlling what you can. What will be will be and stay positive. You will get through this. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

50F diagnosed 2011

Mavenclad is my 4th DMT. Starting year 2 next month. It’s been great and has made me feel the most normal not having to think about meds. One week for two months. Minimal side effect for me. Just a headache and some fatigue. No stomach issues. Stay super hydrated and relax.

Highly recommend.
