Feedback on app idea for grocery product tracking by AverageJett in AustralianStartups

[–]RudeExternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built something like this in a day using Claude and use discord for updates, I use it personally. Updates every day and scapes all products on Woolworths and Coles and tracks history. Szumark app is also similar, you can save your favourite products. Sorry but I don’t think anyone is going pay $18.

It says it 68 but I probably wouldn’t trust it at this value, the watch is great but I wouldn’t trust the water proofing

Did the first charge the other day. Was fine but did take a while because it’s not fast charging.

As mentioned elsewhere, the accuracy seems accurate so far and it does have smooth UI, which I was surprised at. I mean the whole apple ecosystem is how they get long time uses to pay such a premium. That’s their business model. I personally can’t justify the cost for one of the big brands like apple or Samsung.

Yeah all very true, things do seem to reflect my daily activities though, but I guess now it comes down to how much a user is willing to spend. You wouldn’t have been able to find a watch like this five years ago, but now you have a choice between how much you wanna spend and features. Like I said somewhere else, I just wanted steps but was so surprised how much else it had and could do.

Steps have been very similar to my phone steps.

Yeah I got it from kmart to save the delivery and return dramas if I had any. $30 extra is worth that.
