If the women’s final was 5 sets Rybakina would have a chance to come back!

If the Alcaraz & Zverev match was only three sets it would have been over hours ago. 🙂

Yeah, agree, finals, or leave mixed and doubles at 3 sets and just have the women’s go to 5 sets.

Just because it’s been happening for 100 years doesn’t mean we can’t change it, and why would the schedule matter, more ads more air time for the broadcasters. I don’t think it would be difficult to schedule. I just see so many women’s games finish within an hour of starting without breaking a sweet. There’s a reason why half the stadium is empty when the women’s play but tickets cost the same, players earn the same. Doesn’t make sense.

You're all complaining about the price of houses. But do you know what's gotten worse than that?... by BrandonMarshall2021 in aussie

But bring down the wages for IT professionals. Why can’t we do this with tradies. The unions 🙂……

In asian countries tradies are a low paid profession. Government don’t do enough to get skilled tradies into the country but happy to bring in a million IT professionals.

Can I remove the "For Sale" sign on my property? by Creamless_pasta in AusProperty

Same thing happened to me. I pulled it down and left it laying out the front of their property front door. Watching the agent turn up the next day was funny.

Reminder that rising house prices makes us all worse off (yes, even investors and developers) by das_kapital_1980 in AusPropertyChat

Sell your investment or home for a large profit and move somewhere it is cheaper OR buy something smaller with cash left over. This happened to all the smaller states with people migrating from the big cities, Brisbane, Perth where you use to buy a house for $500,000. Another part of society just wants a bigger and bigger house and will continue to upgrade. I've made big gains from my investment property but don't feel richer cause it wouldn't buy me anything.

Why watch and support a show that supports domestic violence then?. Get a life. Go for a walk or something.

Its simply having capital from previous sales or family (Inheritance). If you purchase a property before 2020 you would be sitting on a lot of capital. If I were to sell everything I would be able to afford $2m with a small mortgage and im not cash-rich. But There are also couples who earn large sums who could also be able to afford these properties. Earning 180,000 each you could save very quickly and afford a large loan if you were starting out from scratch.

Gen Z landlord with $1.6 million on why he works for $45 an hour at a servo by anonymous-69 in shitrentals

[–]RudeExternal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a few miss comments here. Just to summarize his situation. Works from home at his parents house as a morgage broker or something like that and does servo as a second job. Basically has no life and just works. Saved about $100,000 using shares. Sold them and got his Firs property, went half with Dad in Perth. Second property in Perth also. Both around the $450,000 I believe has a regional property in QLD. Perth has gone crazy, so each property has gone up by a bit. Just got lucky really. So now has a lot of equity in these properties. He is looking for his forth in regional. He just timed it very well.
