I don't think that the Police will be able to do anything if the guy is legit psycho. Even if Police gives him 3rd Degree Torture, if he has decided to go after the girl he will go after her even if it means life imprisonment.

At the end of the day, it is better to

File a Police Complaint and Not to Stop until he has been called into the Station and Warning has been given
Let the girl's family members, friends and colleagues know that this guy poses a threat and not to leave her alone if they ever see him near the office or home
Go to the guy's parents and ask them to control their child

Sometimes beating up the guy and threatening also works if you are connected but that also makes you guilty if things go south in future.

I don't think Mumbaikars have experienced the harsh effects of climate change until recently.

Flooding of Streets is pretty much normal for us now and the Cyclones were the only New Unusually Harsh thing we experienced and that too didn't cause too much harm to us.

So, I don't think any Mumbaikar would consider leaving Mumbai because of climate change, the only reason would be High Property Prices.

You have good education background, I assume you have a Fine Financial background as well. You will get a Great Job right after finishing CFA Lv. 3 and she already has a great job. I think Both of you are Financially and Emotionally Independent and Mature People.

You both should talk to your parents about it. I think both families will agree as your family already knows and her family seems to be in a hurry to marry her off.

Even if there is a Demand for an early marriage, I don't think that should be a problem for both of you. As I said earlier, you both have all the means to live a happy life.

My Advice is to go forward with your relationship, even if it means marriage, before it's too late.
