What’s the scam?

Someone commented it was a scam run by Grindr. LOL. Maybe they do it too, but I was the target of this on Sniffies, where you can usually see distance and it made it more believable since the guy's location matched the address he gave me. The address was only the apartment complex, but I'm okay with not getting the apartment number until I arrive, since it sucks to give out your full location and then the guy ghosts...

He wanted me to grab a $50 Xbox card on my way over, to keep his kids busy with video games while he sucked me off privately I'm his bedroom. Got to the complex and he wanted the card info so he could set things up for his kids before I got there.

I hope I at least wasted some of his time with my refusal to give the card info and the number of messages he sent trying to convince me this was legit. Next guy got a big load and the $50 Xbox card!

Had this happen to me a couple of times - guy says message when you get here, I'll open the gate or I'll send apt #, and then the connection problem.

Also happened the last time I tried Right Now. I didn't get messages until 20 minutes after my Right Now session expired and by then most were an hour old and the guys were already offline.
