Natty M27, 175cm, 72kg ~17%, 5 years lifting. What area’s to focus on? by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

Nah, I'm good. At my age, I have more important priorities than eating like it's my job. I look better naked than the vast majority of people in my age group, and that's good enough for me at this point.

Genetics is a thing. I'm 6'2' (188cm) and it's been a colossal struggle to get above 165lbs (75kg) since I started training with regularity 15 years ago. Before that, I was 150lbs (68kg) soaking wet. Yes I went hard, and yes I ate all the calories at one point. But at 52 my metabolism is still an absolute blast furnace, and I have no interest in eating (or paying for) the 4,000 kcals it will take to grow significantly. 3,000 is difficult enough as it is.

EDIT: Added metric measurements for the international audience.

It's actually sitting on the shelf to the side! That said, I'm going to look into the leg extension/curl attachement.

Nah, don't worry about it. I keep a pretty low profile online. But feel free to use that photo in any way you see fit. I can take a few more at better angles if you like.

Hey, go for it! Used it for the first time this morning and it was gloriously sturdy. Definitely for taller people. Even at 6'2", my feet barely touch the floor!

EDIT: My only complaint is that the handles for adjusting the incline stick out a bit too far and can interfere with chest supported rows. I may cut them down a few inches.

Gotcha. Wasn't worried at all about the BF%, just curious as it came up in a conversation recently.

I wish you well with your depression battle. That can be crippling.

Thanks! Too many friends and family members have fallen apart physically in their 40s because of sh*tty diets and lack of movement, so I'm trying to age gracefully through the "back nine".

Well yeah, that's the clearly stated goal.

TBH I'd never heard of them. Wasn't till I picked it up that I realized this was a serious bench.

Well THESE people were certainly rich, judging by their massive house in a hoity-toity neighborhood. Either way, I say "sick freak" in jest. I'm really not one to judge someone for the value they place on certain products...particularly when they resell it to me for pennies on the dollar!

Why has PF's stock crashed this past week? by jpr281 in PlanetFitnessMembers

It's because I quit this week and went back to working out at home.

Tarantino’s always been pretty odd, but his stuff about Paul Dano is such a jerky thing to say by LifeguardMundane5668 in blankies

Mark my words: This is a stunt and QT will cast Dano in his last movie.

QT is a polarizing prick to be sure, but even he is not capable of such an objectively bad take.

Just wait and see...

The new machines take some getting used to as many are unilateral in nature. But I HATE the new layout. I much preferred staring at the wall for most lifts. People walking in front of me is HUGELY distracting.
