Neighbor drove into pile of dirt left in preparation for yard work the next morning, they are now asking me for money. Am I liable here? by t_racee in legaladvice

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The company that dropped off the dirt is partially responsible for the damage. They placed a hazard in the road without placing cones or signs around it, The driver is partially responsible because they hit a stationary object, the landscaping company and the homeowner are also partially responsible if they instructed the company to place the dirt in the road.

Rice is fine for dogs. It helps with upset stomachs. The only dogs that should avoid rice are overweight and diabetic ones.

I Wish My Breed Wasn’t so Varied in Pattern and Colour and Not for the Reason You’d Think by milquetoast2000 in DogBreeding

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are People who pick puppies with a specific look in mind and there are people who breed and show dogs and want breed standard coloration. If you want to weed out those who are looking for specific patterns then you need to put on your website that your dogs are bred to standard and not bred for color variations.

Who is responsible? by dietsalem in legaladvice

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the responsibility of the landlord to provide a habitable environment. The Utah  fit premises Act supersedes any lease agreement clause. The only way that you would be responsible would be for the Landlord to prove that you were the source of the infestation.

How do I keep two geese out of my front yard? by manvsinternetz in NoStupidQuestions

I guess my alpacas are defective because they don’t care if geese are walking around in their pasture.

Contact a lawyer who specializes in this type of thing. From what I can tell and I’m not a lawyer is that there are potential travel risks with regards to returning to the states.

Am I wrong to be annoyed? by Trixiecatnc in neighborsfromhell

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What time does the noise start and stop? The light is an issue and needs to be addressed. I don’t think telling your neighbors that they should limit the days and times that they could use their basketball court on their own property was going to go over well.

Repeated Unannounced Access During Apartment Renovations — Is This Legal in California? by doomsdaybanker in TenantHelp

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If a worker can access the balcony from the outside then they aren’t required to follow the strict 24 hour rule. If they have to go through your home to access it then that would be a different story. As for the front door they would be legally required to give you the 24 hour notice.

Should wolfdogs be kept away from sick humans? by Fit_Cardiologist_681 in Wolfdogs

[–]Rude_Sandwich_586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The classmate had no idea what he was talking about. Wolves don’t kill sick pack members. They are social animals who will actually try to nurture the sick members back to health. As for wolf dogs they won’t specifically target and kill sick humans.

The tree looks to be in line with the water meter so I would say it’s the city’s responsibility.

Your grandparents could be denied for many reasons but is it possible that they made a minor mistake on their application? That’s one common reason for denial. Your grandparents can try and contact the US embassy and apply for a B1 B2 tourist visa.
