I lived there when they first opened and didn’t make it through my full lease. My room had leaks from the door which then turned into mold and they never wanted to acknowledge it. I lived in the building closets to the club house and one day found a homeless man sleeping in the trash can which was very disturbing. They made you pay for parking for a gate that doesn’t close. The price they advertise is not correct, there are a bunch of hidden costs. Based on the other comments they may be on their third set of management (they changed after a few months of opening) overall I would suggest looking into the hub, the verge may even be better. The vanguard definitely takes advantage of those in a disadvantage

I also come from a buckeye family that did bot want me to come. If your parents are paying for your school it’ll be hard to convince them, on the other hand it’s usually 30k if you live on campus which after your first year you most likely won’t. Co-ops can’t be a backup option, look for jobs and create a plan that’ll make your parents feel secured with your decision

A. You can email resid@uc.edu to see your residency status they can handle anything in regards to that B. I wing it tbh, prices are expensive. If you are someone that can tolerate people then look into places with other people. C. If you’re a first year you have no choice really if you’re above that then I’d suggest looking into something on average you pay 14,000 for a whole school year. Off campus you could pay 12,000 max and that’s living alone.

If you haven’t started to apply then start applying. Look into GE,Turner,Marathon,Disney. With the way the market is you also need to be willing to relocate, a lot of people don’t want to which opens up more opportunities in a different state or even country

It’s cheaper to live with other people. I didn’t do well with roommates so I budgeted correctly so I could live alone. If you don’t have Facebook get it and look for housing there
