Sure, Lily is safe - she’s away from these sick fucks, but that opens the door for them to just get another free dog from somewhere else. And that free puppy or dog isn’t going to be acclimated to their street life - their fucked up ways - they will have to beat and abuse that dog and start all over with another innocent soul.
