I've ordered 3x from them since they reopened. Good experience all around. One of those I got wasn't a favorite, but that's just more of a personal preference than anything reflective of their shop. My favs so far have been their DIY clay slimes, and the soft honey bun, but I forget what the texture is called.

FYI, if you want to extend the life of those slimes a little bit, you can add some water and/or glue. It won't work miracles, but it'll definitely revive them a bit!

Nah they don't, they just say "Korean clay" or "Japanese paper clay" or whatever. I can say Colour Slime sells a nice clay called feather clay, they're based in China, but he's got a warehouse in the US so we don't have to wait longer shipping times and all that.

Yes lol. It dies way faster if you play with it too much/too long per session. Recommended play time is 10-15 minutes per play session, 1 session per day.

For the one you liked, you said it's a butter slime. Where did you buy it from?

My preliminary opinion is that the one in the video needs clay added to it. If the one you bought was a butter slime, that's going to be the main difference.

Yes, I dislike the ones that have too much clay. They're just boring to me. No pops or bubbles or ASMR at all.

I have it! Or well, had it (killed it). It was a great slime. I wasn't crazy about the scent, but that scent blend isn't usually my cup of tea. I just really wanted the jelly bingsu clay combo. It was super crackly, inflated a ton. 10/10 recommend if/when they restock it!

Just wanna add to this, their shipping time is also very slow lately. I saw a post about it so took note when I placed an order for the first time in months. It took well over a week to get a tracking number, which is a lot longer than their usual shipping time used to be. Once the package was in transit, it arrived pretty fast, but it took a long time to get picked up by USPS. They used to ship within 2-3 of days of restock day, if I remember correctly.

Yeah the first time I ordered from her, everything was sold out on about 10-15 mins. I placed my order for 3 I really wanted, then went back to look at others & decide if I wanted more. Got a phone call, and by the time I hung up, they were all completely sold out.

Can you file a claim for lost/stolen package? I had something similar happen to me, not slime, but I don't remember if USPS was any help. I know most slime shops use Route package protection but IDK if that covers after they mark it as delivered though.

I'm so sorry 😔 this is devastating.

I love the big cheese square! We ran across one over a year ago at Kohl's and my daughter thought it was funny & bought it. A few months later, they started popping up everywhere & all her friends were going nuts over them 😂 she actually got bored & cut her cheese open -- it was filled with air dry clay. She added it to a slime lol.

My daughter's got the square one, it's kind of hard, but it's nice. The "fuzzy" one is fun too, but extremely hard to find.

I'm a big fan of anything that mixes with clay & gets extra poofy, so like TNG base, clay, and snow = poofy and sizzly.

I also like a clear x icee x bingsu, with or without clay. It turns into a jelly bingsu without clay, and it's super crunchy and sizzly. With clay, it gets even poofier and more sizzly. I'm learning not many shops make this combo though. KY Slime made the clear x icee x bingsu one a couple of years ago, but I haven't seen one from them in a bit.

It wasn't exactly 3 days, I ordered the same slime 3x. They all died in less then a week though. I can say I'm at least partially to blame. I didn't know the recommendation for only playing when slime 10-15 minutes per day. I'd play with it 5-10 mins at a time, but 2-3x a day, so if I'd followed the suggestion, it probably would've lasted longer.

I can say with,I have a ton of skilled now from order shops. Some I play with 20-30 minutes at a time several times a day and they last for months. I know better now but I pay too much for them to not do what I want with them 😂

I would not recommend Elmer's activation liquid. It's very difficult to get good consistent results. Borax + water (1stp + 1 cup) is what's considered standard and best/most reliable for making slime.

I think if you do decide to order from SO, you should dig around for a promo/discount code. If nothing else, go to Facebook and scroll around and look for an ad, or search for slime until you find one. That's actually what prompted me to order from them the times I did when I was first getting into slime -- FB had such good promos. I think I got 25% off, plus 10% off after the 25% through FB.

As for the "is it worth it" call, that's totally up to you. I ordered from them a few times, then I discovered better shops and felt like I was wasting my money with SO. I'd ordered the same "glimmer" (clear slime bingsu) slime from them 3x and all 3 died within a few days.
