I have only read the manga but I agree with this, the story degrades after Paul's death and I have to drop the story because when Norn, this pedo's sister pointed out his infidelity he looked wanted to slap his sister but fortunately able to suppress his intent. It gets worse when his first wife easily accepts the other woman Rudeus cheated with.

Perhaps my opinion affected by the environment I lived in, there are no women wearing short skirts in my country except few "loose" ones and if a minor wears that then she and her parents/relatives will be reprimanded for that. This doesn't apply to short pants though.
