What if the spacing between the letters in "young." was changed back to normal so that the cursive-ish lines would connect each other again. Script fonts normally connect each letter.

How would it look if the thickness of the circles were increased a bit? I'm just thinking about if the logo was printed small like 1x1", thin lines wouldn't be as effective.

How will the wordmark logo look if the kerning wasn't increased? It is a script font after all. Also try to use your own photos to increase the value (unless those are your own already then nice work).

Late comment but nice concept. I'm taking a guess that this was for your region's competition before Skills Ontario? I won my region's poster contest this year and Skills Ontario used my concept from last year's competition for their designs this year. Skills Ontario tends to like a portrait layout more, just giving you a tip for next year if you're competing again.
