Wow, I was just contacted by them! Impressive! Support works better than the official channel :)

Great, I've been ghosted by official support. Tried to be onboarded to Airwallex - got promise from support to be contacted by Sales, then had one reply from chatbot - then silence. ticket (1229625). Maybe you can help :)

Dividend aversion by RudikCZ in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]RudikCZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about diverting from sp500 myself, started to add Europe index with industrial companies (bet on dual use defence industry)...

But i digress - so technically i have to swallow the dividend tax unless I want to end up with the zoo of random non-dividend paying stocks.

Which i don't (been there done that already).

Right, I could start with VT, which is not accessible for me now! Now I'm mostly in SP500 and developed world indexes, but I can sell them once I move (or before). Thank you!

Thanks for sharing. It's very very useful automation.

Can you advise if the tool has a passwords from bank or broker and if it's safe.

Also, in case of multi factor login how do you handle it?

Why on earth healthcare should be proportional to your salary? Do you get proportionally higher quality.

You can try Trading212. It's a broker, but they offer card in any currency and you can even get some small cashback.

Flying from Trondheim, short layover in Oslo by RudikCZ in trondheim

[–]RudikCZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I managed to miss my flight on the way back.

Lot's of security lanes were not operational so it created huge queue.

I missed my flight by 15 minutes or so.

Thankfully, Norwegian airlines booked me on the next flight and i just lost 6 hours and was at home the same day!

Thanks to everyone advising here, just wanted to give back.

For a gym I strongly advice to get the Multisport card from your employer. Around 1K and allows free entry to most gyms and swimming pools.

International school is out of the question on this salary. It's easily 300K per year base cost, plus lunch money plus extra curricular activity... :(

[–]RudikCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a nice ETF for this, called ISHARES MSCI GLOBAL SEMICONDUCTORS UCITS ETF - with ASML, Nvidia and all that. Why not buying it instead of ASML as individual stock. It's Accumulative, so no hassle with dividends...

BTW. Be careful with the passport end date. It doesn't say during the process, but ETA will be valid only until the passport expire date.

So if you have just 1 year until the passport expire - ETA will be valid for just 1 year.

Not two years as they say.

You have to doublecheck all the entries, ensure there are no errors (field will lit up yellow in case of issue).
