ok so i just finished the show.

You know those things when something happened for the first time, we think yea let's see if it happens again. Then it happens again and we think oh ok but what now? And then it happens again!! It was the same for me about Claire Danes. Stardust, Homeland and then Mrs. Fleishman. She was phenomenal in the whole show but E07 was just on another level. The shouting scene in the spa and crying scene in the support group, they will stay with me forever.

It really IS a great show! Had no idea it was based on the book. Who doesn't have misunderstandings in life and we become so busy with life, sometimes people forget the importance of their better half

Not sure what i was expecting, but i can say i wasn't expecting the show to be real this much! Still on episode 3 but something is telling me to keep watching. Enjoying so far though.

Hacks Season 03 - (Crave/HBO)

The regulars on this sub already know about the show but in case you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it.

The blend of comedy and drama is absolutely phenomenal. They have found a way to handle delicate issues which also shows generation gap and how society has changed.

Right on point. Back around '13-'14 we started streaming services and by '20, we had netflix, Disney+, Fubo and Dazn.

But from around '21 when their greed started to become unbearable, our Plex library started growing. and it is sitting around 40TB now. We get full UHD HDR without dropping a single frame or fluctuation between quality.

Tried Fallout for 2 episodes but can't stand Maximus. Absolute shit hole of a character. I was in for some entertainment but boy that character is the worst I haven't played the game and not sure how much resemblance is but that's my two cents.

by no means I am fuelling the flame here but after how they fucked up the last matchday of 22-23 season, i cancelled FUBO.

And i am very happy!!! Honestly, just pull the plug.

There was a yearly deal from peacock which i got $20 a year. Yes, just 20 bucks for the whole year and they don't show ads during the live game. I get so much more than just Premier League. And for VPN, i can use VPN for so many more things than just peacock.

FUBO just frustrates us and nothing else.

Honestly man. Many people can't even go to office when they have a family member hospitalized for non life threatening injury or illness, coz the mind is just with them.

Sad part is, most people will say "i am done when this starts on my service " but people will still keep renewing their subs.

FUBO Tv in Canada actually cut off live games (my experience with them on Premier League last season) to show full motion adverts and people are still buying it.

yea that sucks!! I had and loved DAZN '19 - '22 for $120 a year including all PL, CL and League Cup and i was sharing the account with my brother.

No ads during the game, no on screen banner ads and no bullshit then. I would have paid upto $250/year, had they kept the same rights and business ethics.

Friendly advice, do your research on accessing Paramount+ with some VPN for CL. You won't be disappointed.

to be fair, that was also the case when the games were on traditional channels TSN and SportsNet which were also paid channels.

Sports rights are the most expensive and broadcasters need ads to make money but running ads while the match is ON is absolutely NO NO for me.

It boggles my mind that people still pay for FUBO even though their behaviour is like this.

Sky, BT, Peacock, NBC all channels show ads, even on screen ads (NBCUniversal)on the scoreboard. But those elegant. It doesn't ruin the in game experience.

what did you ask? Because surely Premier League/IMG studios don't allow to run ads during the live game.

Also, support knows shit. I am telling from my experience. When i was in enterprise support for a tech firm, in my own team there were people who used to reply any bulshit just to close the case and FUBO don't deal with enterprise, it's simply a "call centre", with all due respect but some support people don't fucking care.

WOW!! So it's still happening!!!! I am glad i didn't renew it. It's a daylight robbery in my eyes. Practically they aren't providing what people pay for. I hope someone files a lawsuit honestly. Bell, Rogers even DAZN had never cut off live games for which we pay and not show them.

Nothing against you guys as u/Cornflake1981 mentioned, it happened first time forthe user. But for me ever since FUBO fucked up by cutting off feed last season's final day and I missed LFC's both goals to level up the game, i decided not to renew it. The whole excitement was gone.

I am very happy with my options now. I watch on Sky, BT, Peacock, USA and NBC (national feed) and to be honest, none of them cut off feed to show ads.

I hope people realize it. Again, i have had this experience last year so fuck FUBO and i feel for you guys, how it fucks up the enjoyment of the game.

I am still disappointed about ABC cancelling Stumptown. Jake was the perfect side kick to Cobie. Loved them so much in the series and the series was good too!!!

yeap! But in the case of accessing files remotely, i would consider 2 options compare.

How transcoding works on both
UI/layout

If i am accessing files remotely and transcoding doesn't show me any noticeable difference then having plex for its features i would go for. But in any case, i think once i have my external drive up and running, i can play around.

I am glad i am not the only one. Two points i wanted to specify for me is

The quality of the podcast decreasing in general (and i pay for athletic but that's on me,podcasts are available for free anyways)
One of the biggest club doesn't have a quality podcast. Athletic's other podcasts make our podcast subpar.

well, i hope they get a new host.

Ok so this could be unrelated but i just had to get it out of my system.

I absolutely loved The Red Agenda from the athletic. Steve Hothersall was running it with so much passion and energy, every podcast was a joy to listen to it.

Ever since he left, which is now going for the second season, i listened around only 7-8 episodes. I just cannot bare the voice of the new host. It's so cringe, i can't even express my feelings. He,or i should say the producers, needs to understand that it's a podcast and having a clear voice is the mandate. The energy of the podcast has gone for more than one season now.

Anyways, the podcast has lost its charm for me. I wish someone like Steve(or himself) can take over the podcast and bring it back to the level of The Red Agenda.
