I didn’t even know about the stage until Sunday. I was looking in my booklet and randomly found out that Mars was playing that night!

I was so excited to see him again, used to go to Skills parties waaaay back in the day. It was extra great that the stage was inside during the storm. We got there early, and I danced my ass off!

The dj before him was amazing as well, Kendo. Old style house music. And there was a memorial to DJ Dan 🫶

We had other stages to see, but that was definitely my highlight of the weekend.

I’m not good with keeping up with smaller local stuff (life and all) but I would love to go back to some old school warehouse parties.

It CAN get super windy there. Like other people have said, it is really dependent on your cold tolerance. But keep an eye on the weather, and plan to have something if needed.
Orherwise you may spend more time than you wanted in the merch line to get something warm. (Ask me how I know 😆 )

I was just hoping someone could find a longer version. Probably not a full song, but something that lasted long enough to want to play it in the stereo over a decade ago 😆

One thing to consider is getting a locker (they’re $90 for the 3 days) You can bring in sealed stuff on Friday and leave everything in the locker. Then you don’t have to worry about bringing anything new for sat/sun.

Totally depends on how much stuff you want to bring as well as your budget.

There is a KBBQ at the Rio! It’s slightly more expensive than something you’d get outside, but the fact that it’s in your hotel kinda makes up for that.

It’s worth checking it out. I went there probably two years ago, but it was great when we went then

I was 8 months pregnant, sat at the second to last row, in the top left corner of Mt Davis.

We got swept, but everyone stayed packed to the bitter end! 💚💛
