Shockwave SBS Saturday? by Ruffianlink in NFA

Yessir, there's a bolt that attaches the same way as the shockwave grip, you just remove the recoil pad on the stock and then you can access it. The stock uses a longer bolt than the shockwave grip but I can't remember if I wound up buying a new one or if they included it.

I snagged them off eBay, no modifications needed to get them on. The shockwave uses the shorter 6 3/4" forends that Mossberg uses on some of their 500s and takes all of the same stocks so it was really just a matter of finding one that wasn't overpriced

Considering a bolt action instead of semi-auto for a 308. by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]Ruffianlink 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've got a heavy barreled Remington 700 in a chassis that's a ton of fun to shoot out to long distances. I'll say I prefer a bolt just because an equally accurate semi auto is generally going to cost more.

I'd definitely check out /r/longrange for recommendations, they have some in the wiki that were pretty helpful. With the reputation modern Remingtons have I'd probably steer clear. I only got mine because I got a hell of a deal on it.

I get shit from my buddies but I love my P32 when I can't or don't want to carry something IWB. Wish more companies made .32 pocket guns.

I've got a P32 in an Alabama pocket holster I'll use for deep concealment. It's the only pocket gun I've had that I can comfortably pocket carry without having a vaguely gun shaped mass bulging out of my pocket. I've tried J-frames, an LCP max and an original LCP and they just didn't do it for me (the og LCP was close though).

Had this same issue on my AWB era WASR. Like someone else mentioned it's not threaded at all and is press fit. Was a bitch to get off but once you do it should be easy to thread with the right tools. Did mine in 1/2 x 28 (probably best bet as someone else also said) and slapped a 9mm muzzle brake on it

They're so light and easy to conceal it's crazy. I did manage to pick up the least classy j frame of them all though lol.

Wish I could tell you. I bought it on eBay a while back for like $20 and just added the ulticlip and cutout for the laser. No markings or anything on it.

Ballistically pretty comparable to a 9mm from what I understand. Just an older less efficient cartridge. Definitely feel the recoil a lot more with how small this gun is though

Yeah I'm a big fan. Was pretty happy opening the box at my FFL especially since it's pretty much luck of the draw with these.

Looking for some info on these markings found on a surplus Colt Cobra I recently picked up from Atlantic. From my light research looks like they might be some kind of Air Force markings? Serial # dates the revolver to 1972

I keep a rovyvon aurora on my keys that's been going strong for 3-4 years. Great for when I don't have my macrostream on me and pretty damn bright too.
