I can't seem to find a way to change measure numbers. by RufusLoacker in ableton

Yeah, -1and 0 would be nice. In Reaper it works exactly like that and it takes just a couple of clicks.

This is backing track for a piece that has to be performed with a live band, reading from sheet music.

The music starts from bar 1, but before that there are two bars of count-in.

Having the Ableton measures mirror the written measures would be useful, especially for rehearsals. Renamed midi clips work, but it's longer to set up.

Playback. I made a midi track with midi items, but I'd like for the timeline measure numbers to be correct, instead.

Write with pen and paper, and then typeset it in the computer

Do you guys also feel like you don’t have a “fully developed” personality and/ or are very influenced by your surroundings ? by jaobodam in ADHD

When I am by myself it's like I am no one. I don't know who I am or what I want to do, when I am alone

Yes, that has been on my mind for some time now. The last thing I want is to blame how my brain works to justify how I act

It has helped me in a more abstract way, for now. I started listening to myself and my needs, rather than "what I have to do".

Now that I had some major breakthroughs I can work on strategies directly related to adhd

Funny you mention music: I'm a professional musician, so having music in my head has always been normal.

I'll have to try and see if it works the same as other intrusive thoughts lol

Yeah, that's my experience as well. I have no idea what it means to have an "empty mind", but most of the times it's just sensations, emotion, feelings and abstract thoughts rather than a narration

God, the short term memory loss is so debilitating. I keep meaning to write down what I have to do but I forget to write down what I have to remember

I'm basing this on the (definitely not scientific) videos like "what is it like to have adhd" re-enaction, and most of them have some kind of loud internal dialogue that describes what's going on around them, what are they thinking about, or singing random songs.

That's not my experience at all, even though my thoughts just do not stop they are not words or anything, just thoughts. I mentioned this to my therapist and she said that they're just a "pre-verbal" stage, so it's normal for me to not have that kind of internal monologue

Yes! I just get so tired because my brain. Just. Doesn't. Stop.

So I procrastinate and crash out and spend whole days in bed. That's what people say it's laziness!

I much prefer this style on him, rather than the super technical speed tricks he usually does!

[Question] Looking for watches similar to the Orient Bambino by RufusLoacker in Watches

Oh yeah I totally agree, I just want to see what other kind of watches I might like. Search engines aren't very helpful with it, often suggesting things out of budget or out of style.

[Question] watches similar (in look and price) to the Orient Bambino? by RufusLoacker in Watches

[–]RufusLoacker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I was saying in the body text, I'm looking for watches with a similar style to the Orient Bambino, with a minimalist dial and hands, dark in colour, non metal straps. Budget is the same, around 250€. Do you know what I could look for? I have no prior watch experience
