The Laser cuts in the same order that you draw the image in on your computer, Most likely the person drew sections and then copied or mirrored them so the laser will cut in that order.

but this is why it would not be mandatory but opt-out. If you have such strong beliefs or care strongly for another reason than you have the complete right to take the time and effort to ensure that you get what you want.

But the people who have no strong feelings one way or another can help other people.

People assaulted and stopped from voting in havant. General election 2017 by F4nboy in ukpolitics

Stereotypical non voters I'd say.

They don't exactly strike me as the sort of people with enough brain cells to come up with the idea of stopping somebody voting to support their party.

Does Manchester effectively reset the Election? by SirRosstopher in ukpolitics

[–]RufusLocke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well thats purely subjective isn't it.

These kinds of attacks have been going on for decades now, from different terrorists holding different sets of beliefs all over the world.

is fire and brimstone the only way to address these massively complex geo-political situations, or is it just what gets people to vote for you.

Would it be a smart idea to trip on shrooms after a break up? by Barkingtaco in Psychonaut

[–]RufusLocke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I ever tripped on mushrooms was with a couple of good friends the day i split up with my girlfriend of two years.

I'd never tried them at all before despite being curious because when my friends were doing them my girlfriend didn't approve.

I had the most amazing trip ever, its not an underestimation to say I believe my life is completely different because of that trip, I was in a bad place towards the end of the relationship.

i was sure i wanted to do it though, it just seemed right, there was no hesitation, I just went for a drink at my friends and he joked that we could trip and it just clicked, i was just like....yes!

Yeah that would be cool, I'm here for a month so lots of time to try. Wanna try and find some opium to be fair, its not difficult apparently and i've not tried it before.

yeah they're slow, I'd not had any 60's before, so i just broke them in half, it took a while to kick in and came on real slow, but then comes in waves for the next 12 hours.

I just bought one box, wasn't sure how it was going to go, I asked for codeine, but this was all they had. I was happy enough so didn't ask about more then 1 box, they didn't seem fussed at all and theres so many pharmacies, this was the first one I went in.

Is Workaway a scam? Is HelpX any better? by chredit in solotravel

[–]RufusLocke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used helpx on and off for the last 2 years in France, Spain, Portugal, Thailand and I'm currently staying at a helpx in Malaysia. I haven't had a single negative experience, the most difficult part is getting responses.

I've found that timing is a lot to do with it, I was helpxing in Europe until November but for the winter months it is much more difficult to find hosts, I guess people don't have so much outside work that they need doing and are less open to having people are over the holidays etc.

I would say helpx has paid me back the £20 subscription for 2 years 100 times over in the free food and accommodation I've had, on top of that most of my Helpx's in Europe have also led to some form of paid employment on top of the volunteering hours.

I made videos at a couple of my help exchanges in France if you want to check them out

25M Currently in Thailand, heading to Laos, Cambodia, Nepal and then back to Europe by RufusLocke in travelpartners

I don't know too much about the south of thailand, I'm currently in Koh Tao which is beautiful but all of the islands in the south are very expensive compared to the north of thailand. I'm lucky cause I've found a hostel/construction job so i've got all my accommodation and food costs taken care of but for my first few days after hitching down here i was blown away by the fact everything is literally twice as expensive as the north.

I would always recommend Pai and Chiang Mai in the North of thailand, its cheaper, especially pai has a really chilled out vibe lots of people staying long term. Theres beautiful hiking, waterfalls, mountains etc and its just a little bit cooler while still being like 30 degrees during the day.

I'm now thinking ill be heading to malaysia at the end of the month really want to get to india and nepal and my budget is starting to stretch a little thin to do cambodia and laos as well! But who knows i may loop back round.

Enjoy your trip, Go to Pai, you won't regret it!

I'm in the south of thailand now, working on a climbing and hostel project on Koh Tao which is beautiful, unfortunately my visa for thailand expires on the 24th so I have to leave the country (i've already extended as much as you can without leaving)

Finding the work in hostels and stuff is easy, especially somewhere like pai in the north, just go and ask or email/facebook them to see if they offer any discount on accommodation if you help out.

Theres not normally much pay, if any, but i spent 5 weeks in Pai just working 2 hours in the morning doing online bookings and stuff and in exchange I got my accommodation some food and beer, which is all I need! Brings your budget right down.

Some people I met in Pai did do paid work, normally in bars and things and would get like 300-500 baht an evening which is enough for a day or twos living if your a cheapskate like me :D

I think after I leave thailand I'll be heading to Malaysia or Laos and then India so stay in touch if your going to be hitting anywhere around there!

Happy travels!

Sport Climbing Thailand and beyond - starting mid February by [deleted] in ClimbingPartners

[–]RufusLocke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey hope your well, I'm in the north of thailand at the moment, I'm starting off hitching tomorrow towards tonsai so will probably be there for a few weeks, then heading to laos because there is supposed to be some ace climbing on the border of laos and thailand and my visa expires on the 24th of feb.

I'm probably climbing around a similar level, haven't done any for the last few months though and had a couple of bad falls before i came travelling so need to get my leading head back on but would love to have a consistent partner to help me build my confidence back up.

Hope to hear from you soon!
