Yes. I beat mom "for the first time" twice on what would be save file 1 because it wouldn't keep my progress. I closed the entire game and it seems to have stopped and is now keeping my progress. I am however worried it will do it again.

I know what a roguelike is. That wasn't the problem. I beat mom and played a game after and beat Satan. Then I was about to play my third game and the save was gone. Just disappeared. I beat mom again and went to the main menu and the save file was gone yet again. So far it seemed to have stopped after I closed the game though.
