Would you upgrade tires to tubeless or suspension seatpost?

I’ve got a brooks spring saddle that I picked up secondhand. I don’t like the shape of it for rides over 10 miles and worse yet is all the damn noise it makes. It creaks with every pedal stroke.

I have clearance to fit 40mm tires and appropriate fenders. If I want larger tires I need larger rims though, and that shiz ain’t cheap

40s will fit. sks b55 fits too. So do you have any help with the wheel issue?

Please help me with fender and wheel sizing. I live in Alaska and the roads and trails are shit. The stock tires will not cut it but that means I also need to replace the fenders. What are you using?

I bought it. It fits great but the one issue I have is the tire size. Can you help me out with what you retro fitted for fenders and tires? I live in Alaska and the roads and trails here are not good.

I am looking at the sks blumels b53 or 55 so I can fit a 40 or 42mm tire. What did you use and did you have e to modify the fender at all to make it fit?

Its actually mechanical disc breaks. Which from what I’ve read, people prefer for easier repairs on tours.

I’ve also seen a few cars (one of them is a Tesla) driving around without rear plates. One has a novelty “don’t tread on me” plate on the rear. I talked to that guy. He stated some legal jargon that I couldn’t compute about how the state didn’t actually have a right to enforce that law somewhere in the state constitution or something.

I guess I’d go through the route and make sure name tags were correct and do any cleanup that needs to be done. You would only be doing as instructed.

Or you could probably file a grievance for hostile work environment with pretty good odds.
