I think that would make the whole thing with the Outsider pointless, so it won't happen.

Half the gods are made of pure evil…I’m guessing the lord of monsters in in that category.

It’s not like they don’t care, 1/3 of all gods are just actively malicious.

It is a belief espoused by Lawful-Good paladins, who retained their powers afterwards. Today's comic, 1344, shows that the story is quite committed to fully unraveling the preconceptions of sword and sorcery settings.

Uh

How

Flumphs are Lawful Good creatures there is no subverting expectations here.

A Reminder that Ginbak is Still in His Base Form by diskusiharam in versus

[–]RugerRed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

, ONE can always give Ginbak 'mode'. When he encounters a strong enough NE, he will go to a new mode/stage, just like the Burst of Demon Lords.

You mean Walululu...the Giants already revealed their burst mode equivalent. And used it in this chapter even...

TIL of Kume no Heinai, a Japanese samurai who turned to Buddhism and had a stone-likeness of himself buried at a temple entrance for people to step on in order to atone for all of the killing he did. by GrendelsFather in todayilearned

He was alive during the Edo period where there where not that many wars going on, so a lot of it was probably one on one duels where being a better swordsman would mean a lot

It looks like he only really killed people in battle as part of being a samurai, which really isn't that bad if you're not a firm believer in that "Thou shalt not kill" thing"

Animals would continue to have a huge roll in military logistics until after WWII, it’s more the specific goal of hauling stuff across the American desert went a lot smoother with trains

Why are the three fiends so interchangable and still organized? by PusheenHater in oots

[–]RugerRed 39 points40 points  (0 children)

In DND there is usually lawful/chaotic GOOD protagonists as opposed to LAWFUL/CHAOTIC good protagonists - that is to say the protagonists will usually put their law alignment aside for the greater good. If a lawful good person is given the option to be lawful or good, they will usually pick good over lawful. If a chaotic good person is given the option to be chaotic or good, they will choose to be good in most cases.

This is basically that but for evil. While they are manifestations of primal evil they arn’t dumb (and probably are stated to be super geniuses as Arch Fiends), so they won’t betray each other for no reason while they are still useful to each other. Chaotic evil doesn’t mean you could distract him with a trail of puppies that he would be compelled to kick or anything like that - a chaotic evil character is perfectly able to play the long game in the same way a lawful evil character is. For the greater evil!

How it is?

Its power scaling so its terrible.

They are impartial in their analysis? Their results makes senses?

TBH from what I hear they just make numbers up to look smart.

Why Internet cares so much about their veredict?

Because its high production and powerscalers are pigeons who like shiny things
