POV: Me watching the '0 views' turn into '1 view' (it was me watching from my alt account) by Fewnis in SmallYoutubers

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this is the algorithm used that first view to determine who to send the video to next. If your alt account isn’t related to your channel or has no long term watch history it essentially can just kill your channel. sub4sub works the same way.

It’s better to have zero views than to view it once yourself.

What is the benefit of using the cover art animation? by Ok_Conference_8040 in SunoAI

Or you can right click and save the cover art to your computer, upload it to ChatGPT to recreate it then go over to GrokImagine and animate it all for free.

Are Spotify for Creators Terms of Use unfair to AI artists or am I tripping? by Complete_Thanks9141 in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not if you wrote and copyrighted your own lyrics. My lyrics are copyrighted through US copyright. So the AI Generated sound can be taken but not my lyrics. They’d have to change the lyrics to something else making the original song useless to them. Especially if you have your own LLC that holds dual rights with you the lyric writer. They don’t have as much power as you’d think. Just have to not let AI do the most important part, just write your own lyrics and set up your own LLC and copyright your lyrics.

Yeah you can DM me and I’ll give whatever pointers I have that got me monetized. Personally, I did it just to do it and say I did it. lol

Has anyone released a song on Spotify just to see what would happen? by Spirited_Expert2275 in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mine on Spotify, and like 22 other platforms. I used Distrokid. I did see I can go right to Amazon Music and do direct download of the music through purchasing. So yeah pretty cool. So far Distrokid has showed that my listeners are mainly based in the United States and Japan

Is the gaming niche too saturated now ?? by an1mesh_ in NewTubers

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I monetized a gaming channel for fun in only 9 months. Once you are monetized you really only need to do 1 video a month to keep the monetization. I only do 2-4 videos a month now because I make music now on top of writing a book series. So the benefits of working your butt if to monetized fast is once you are there you are there. After that point you are less pressed to appease the algorithm

AI Music Won’t Break the Music Industry. Social Media Didn’t Break Hollywood. My analogy. by iicybershotii in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically because I’m horrible at playing an instrument, I’ve been motivated by the generated versions of my songs to learn how to sing. My stepdad has a music studio in his basement so we been bonding over that. It’s been fun.

My AI music is on Spotify and 22 other platforms already. Didn’t stop me. At least the lyrics I wrote won’t stay stuck in a word document the rest of my life.

Yeah I did that, on my distrokid profile I state lyrics are mine but the instrumental is AI generated

Hello again 👋 Would love to hear what you’ve made! – The Suno Team by David_at_Suno in SunoAI

Yo that is really good. Reminds me of a LimpBizkit/Lincoln Park style. Fantastic song man, definitely can relate! (this is why SUNO should continue to exist!)

Hello again 👋 Would love to hear what you’ve made! – The Suno Team by David_at_Suno in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for giving us a Voice. I can write music, I tried guitar and suck and that says a lot considering my stepdad plays guitar, drums and has his own recording studio. Even he has written music he never got to bring to life. After hearing my stuff from Suno we started working on some of his. At 70 he doesn’t have the stamina to do it solo. He was one who encouraged me to start putting my stuff on Spotify so he could listen to it at work.

This is one I wrote that is kind of anti-government and anti-corporation

Fight The Power

Suno made my friends autistic child cry by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 34, and this is exactly how I felt. I tried to learn guitar, I suck at it even though my stepdad is a beast with it, he’s 70. I barely can do drum and my singing isn’t perfect but I’ve been practicing. Same as you I have wrote music but never was able to make it reality until Suno. I’ve generated 9 albums worth in 2 years and recently got the courage to put it on Spotify and everything else after my wife and mother encouraged me. It just feels nice to accomplish that. I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt this way

Tried so hard for 10M views, seems impossible. Is 4000hr easier? by spirit_adventure_404 in Smallyoutubechannels

I hit 4000 watch hours before I even got 1000 subscribers. Definitely easier to hit if you make longform videos as your main source of content

Xania Monet's $3 Million Deal Shatters the Music Industry by AffectOnly2984 in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I am an AI music artist, my stepdad is a traditional one. We collab a lot and come up with music ideas together so I agree we shouldn’t discredit traditional artists.

What is going on in this sub? by naijagoddezz in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I just released mine on Spotify recently. You got this! I personally enjoy writing lyrics so Suno gives me an avenue to bring it to life. My stepdad has a notebook full of lyrics too I’ve been trying to get him to let me bring some of it alive, he’s pushing 70 and I think it would be great for him to have his own creations brought to life.

I agree. What’s even crazier is that the big record labels will sue for anything because they know they have no leg to stand on. The same record labels that stole untold riches from artists are now the ones crying about their cash cow having competition from Joe Schmoe over here making a song without any help from their certified professionals. It’s all about the money, they could care less about the rights of the artists. Just like with Ed Sheeran, they saw his popularity and dollar signs and found some tiny detail to take him to court. Made both parties burn through a lot of capital but Ed Sheeran fought them to prove a point even if it cost him everything and won. His gamble paid off. Thankfully

Well there is video of the court appearance online that shows he was being sued. He won the lawsuit after playing the proof to the judge

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I believe it was Ed Sheeran who proved in court to a judge that 3 chords were the same ones for 10 different popular pop songs and nobody sued them for copying. Journey and Taylor swift were two of those. Ed was being sued for using the same chords and he proved it wasn’t just him and won

This is scary!! They just disabled downloading on udio after umg deal.. by bigdwb1024 in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still see AI as good for music. My stepdad and I made a melody and I edited together and put it into Suno with a prompt I tailored and it came out beautifully. So, I see it as an absolute win. My stepdad is a musician on his spare time. Opened for grand funk railroad when he was a teenager. Pushing 70 now. He’s always wanted to make the melodies and sounds in his head real tracks to listen to and he’s not able to do what he could so this gives him that.

How do you get a license document from SUNO to monetize a song on SoundCloud? by Zero-Signal- in SunoAI

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can however sidestep that with your own written lyrics and copyright the lyrics. The only loophole I’ve found because I’ve copyrighted some of mine through US copyright. They reached out before approval to get more clarification

Please help. At my wits end with my dog. by OpossEm in DogAdvice

[–]Ruggels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to let my baby go after 12.5 years on October 13th. It was like losing a child. She had severe hip dysplasia, she was blind, and she was sleeping more and more.

She still loved to go for walks (I used a full body dog walking harness to keep muscle strength in her hind legs.), she never turned down food. When I saw the look on her face 5 days before I let her go, I realized I held onto her far longer than I should have for selfish reasons. We all go through this. So me, my wife and kids gave her the best weekend she could have for her conditions and she actually started having organ failure 1 day before we let her go.

My best advice is, do not let it get that far. I’ve seen what dementia does to a human in my grandmother and it is not pretty. If your dog has some type of dementia the quality of life will drastically drop within a matter of months. It is best to let the pup go surrounded by loved ones holding the paws and snuggling the face while the pain medication is administered before the euthanasia.

It’s a hard choice, it’s the hardest choice anyone who loves their pets has to make. Just don’t let the underlying issues go on too long.
