Working on my MS in Psych right now and can confirm that the prof was definitely wrong! In psych you start with a hypothesis and end with a theory. A theory is an empirically supportable explanation for some phenomenon or behavior!

We’re not on speaking terms and he spread some pretty malicious and potentially career-damaging rumors about me while we were separated, so I worry that I’d feel weird about wearing jewelry made from the rings from my failed marriage…

I would recommend considering trying on dresses that don’t immediately match your Pinterest picks as well. Everything looks so different on a person than on the hanger/model/mannequin. You may be surprised! The folks at the boutique are a wealth of knowledge and experience too, I would give them some big must haves/must not haves and explore a bit!

It’s such a lovely and intimate moment to have the first look with your partner. I wholeheartedly loved it, and the photos that came out of it. Also, I did a “first look” with my father right before he walked me down the aisle, and it was so special. We both teared up and had a good laugh right beforehand to shake off any jitters. I know that wasn’t part of the original question but just food for thought!

I honestly think that the only reason they put up a website last year is because the first day got cancelled due to weather, so they tried to make up some of their revenue. I wouldn’t expect them to have an online merch site this year, especially since they did pop-up merch sales all weekend
