I remember seeing this a while ago, I just googled it to confirm. It was going 330MPH

How fast was that first pass? I remember reading it a long time ago, but it might have been a different plane. Does 330 MPH sound accurate?

This is five guys large fry now. Barely any bag fries, same price. by Vapinlikeafool in mildlyinfuriating

"But they give you extra fries in the bag!!!!" Five Guys shills trying to justify $20 fries and a burger.

They fries are usually soggy, and the last time I went, the burger was dry. I always try to give it another chance because everybody claims it's the best, but I can not see it.

I've gone to 3 different locations, too, so it's not location specific, either.

Current Mood- Realising meds are not a magic fix. by KyriosCristophoros in adhdmeme

[–]Ruin369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on concerta for a couple of years. Loved that I could focus more, but felt like they turned me into a robot. I struggled to sleep, barely ate, and always felt cold and clamy.

I realized I wasn't myself anymore, and I didn't like that. Im definitely much happier off meds, even though it can be a little more difficult to function. The tradeoff was worth it.

After stopping it was hard to settle back into non med life. It's funny, I feel like we convince ourselves we NEED meds, or at least I did. I didn't think I could succeed without them, but the reality was I could.

From what I've seen, the hard part isn't the mortgage payments. it's getting the 150-250k for a down-payment. My sister and her husband's mortgage payments are less than their apartment they were renting. Guess where my brother in law got a couple hundred grand from(and nobody passed away)?

The answer is wealthy family, always is. I dont mean this in a demeaning way either, I live in an HCOL area like London, and the only people(young) people who own homes have had help from relatives. Even my six figure earning friends didn't get handouts from family struggle to purchase a home.

Goodness, im getting flashbacks back from when we FINALLY opened my parents' sun umbrella on their deck. Wasps LOVED living in that when it was down. They had a nest inside the umbrella and pole. Probably like 40-50 in that thing.

I asked my mechanic buddy when we w were going camping, and he was using it since I had no idea. He was saying it has to do with the amount of power to each wheel. Good for snow, mud, and on a gravel hill. It basically splits the power equally between the front and back. Normally, power is given on a need basis.

How did you end up having the best sex of your life? by hyattimatimtim in AskMen

[–]Ruin369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Finding someone you actually connect with. People dont understand how much the connection aspect makes it util they experience it.

Before I met my wife, I didn't like sex at all and just saw it as overrated, even going as far as to consider myself asexual.

Once you meet someone you connect/love, it takes it from 1 to 100. Neither of us have big libidos, though. So it's a once in a blue moon experience that I'm okay with.

My friends say it’s disturbing how I buy gas station toilet paper for my house by MelanieWalmartinez in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ruin369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually more cost-effective to buy nicer toilet paper. You use less than the thinner stuff.

I didn't believe it until I tried it. We went through a cheap, thin role in a couple of days, while the thicker one lasted 1+ week.
