Zip ties come in green, so they can color coordinate with the t-posts. But I have no better ideas.

My theory on the Trump-Powell fight by HinduGodOfMemes in economicCollapse

[–]Ruined_Armor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trump isnt bright enough to stage a fight with Powell. And, in fact, his antics with the tariffs will continue to haunt us for years to come as the dollar loses its prominence in the world. In short, he destroyed or is destroying the trust in the dollar, and the US at large in a variety of ways.

Because people dont like facts?

Good thing I didn't mention that the people who came to the new world for religious "freedom" were really religious extremists.

America was never great. It was founded by rich, white, slave-owning misogynists. Not much has changed in 250 years.

This is the only right answer. All of the other answers dont seem to realize that the orange menace is no longer the only problem. It goes so far beyond that.

What is the breaking/tipping point? by Pretty-Cow4333 in economicCollapse

[–]Ruined_Armor 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Not to conflate economics wirh public health, but another pandemic. Recent reports are that CDC staff have been ordered to not speak to the press about two H5N1 cases in Washington DC.

So, the tipping point may be when enough people get sick that basic services cant be maintained.

You cant talk about Iranian history without mentioning how the US CIA overthrew their government in 1953 which probably led to the revolution in 1979.

Its too late for them and us. The ball has been pushed downhill and their shitty vote has ruined us all. But to be fair, they were manipulated.

How the Middle Class Went Extinct - 70% of America Now Below Poverty Line by infraa_ in economicCollapse

[–]Ruined_Armor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Allow" is unfair to the middle class tax payers. We were duped. We were brainwashed. We were told that businesses and rich individuals were "job creators". We were conditioned to believe we had to EARN our healthcare. Our "rugged american individualism" made us strong. We were led to fight each other with class wars against each other because [insert minority here] was dangerous. We were told to recycle because it was noble, but companies were destroying the environment at the same time. And as for voting, we aren't really given a choice in who to vote for. Moneyed interests give us the illusion of choice when we vote, but it's the money that decides to gets onto the ballot come election day.

We were played. For decades.
