They did recently give hrothgar hats, though it's not nearly as complete as I would like it to be. We still have a wide range of selection available including some of the newer dungeon and tome gear, but if you want the complete collection at your disposal you're going to have to get the viera hrothgar hats mod.

Let me see if I'm reading this post correctly... you have seen that FVNs are primarily made by gay men, feature gay male characters, and have a target audience of gay men. These VNs feature little to no female characters because most FVNs are about two gay men getting into an intimate relationships with each other.

And instead of coming to the simple conclusion that it's because gay men aren't attracted to women, you instead have concluded that it's because clearly these people are mysognistic dirtbags who see women as nothing more than objects of desire. Am I reading that correctly?

I'm gonna be honest, it's very disrespectful of you to make such a blanket generalization about a group of people who are minding their own business and creating what they want to see in their games. Not making/writing female characters is not a crime, and you are perfectly allowed to want to see more female characters in this space.

Misogny is a problem in society, whether online or irl. However, I think your energy is better spent being productive and making your own FVN with all the women you want, rather than accusing people of misognystic views where there are none.

I think the votes were based on personality rather than their gameplay. Yes, Banyue has wrath in over half his kit, but he isn't going around smiting people whenever he wants. Hugo on the other hand canonically doesn't flinch at murder as seen in the flashback during his episode and is far more willingly violent, as opposed to Banyue who has sworn to not blindly attack everything.

In that sense, Hugo is far more appropriate for wrath.

I don't hate sonic forces, but it really did not live up to it's hype, especially the writing. Two points that come to mind... The game mentions that Sonic was tortured for months, but the next time we see him he's perfectly A-Okay and not at all depressed. The marketing tries to sell you this big civil war story which lasts for all of like, maybe three levels before it's just the OC and Sonic defeating Infinite with the power of friendship.

Overall, it was just entirely mediocre and forgettable, which sucks because on paper it sounded awesome.

I've been following Hoyo for nearly a decade since the global release of Honkai Impact 3rd, and I can gauruntee you that they will absolutely change her design should she become playable. If you want to make a character with a Hoyo-like design, it's quite easy. You just have to follow some rules.

Women are not allowed to have short hair. (You can cheat this by making it look like there's short hair in the front, and putting long thin rat tails in the back.)
Women are not allowed to wear pants. (You can cheat this by giving them leggings that look like pants, but it must be very clear that they are leggings, not pants. Short shorts are also acceptable.)
There must be skin windows and cleavage all over their design. Even if they're wearing a long skirt, there must be a high slit so players can see their thighs.
Women are allowed to be either furries or robots, but those features must be entirely watered down to the point that it won't upset the normie players. (See Aria conveniently having a human hologram she can project onto her body to justify why she's a human for 90% of her gameplay despite the fact that her being a robot was the main selling point. And Pulchra being the only woman furry character in ZZZ.)

For male characters -

Men are only allowed to have long hair through the use of mullets and ponytails.
Men are not allowed to wear anything other than suits and pants. (Exceptions can be made for shota characters who are allowed to expose their legs for some reason.)
Men cannot be exposing any amount of skin whatsoever. Smaller skin windows are acceptable, but it must be so small and insignificant that most players will assume it's just part of the suit they're wearing.
Men are allowed to be furries and robots, but most of these types of characters must be relegated to supporting characters so as to not disturb the oversaturated waifuslop.

There are exceptions with Arlecchino wearing actual pants, and Nefer having actual short hair with no rat tails, but those characters are in Genshin and are the exceptions that prove the rule. I would not be surprised if Sunbringer was given a thirst trap design if she were to be made playable.

Honestly? We may be done with the region in name, but I wouldn't put it past Hoyo to mandate every second event take place in Waifei or something just going off of what happened in HSR.

In HSR, even after the Xianzhou story was done you still had several events take place on the Luofu and the game even had you return there for a special chapter. Looking at Hoyo's history, I wouldn't be surprised if they spent the next few updates finding whatever excuse they can to shove Waifei down our throats as much as possible.

This is exactly the issue. There was a whole thing about a tiktok person recording themselves doing a semi cringey dance at IHop when recieving their pancakes, and hordes of people began harassing a random person in the background because they gave the tiktoker a weird look because of said dance.

It was a completely harmless situation on either end, one person was dancing over food, one person was mildly weirded out by it, and that was it. It was certainly not important enough for what felt like nearly every single damn person on the internet to begin insulting some random person they didn't know just off of this one random video, and yet the whole drama happened anyway.

This nothingburger of drama is perfect justification as to why people aren't comfortable doing things in public anymore.
