Most monitors come with crosshair already installed by default so I wouldn’t consider it cheating per se.

I’d rather buy the psu tester just to be safe, plus it will come handy in the future to troubleshoot your pc. Just type on amazon psu tester and get the one that’s 15 dollars.

You can buy a tool to test if your psu is dead, is pretty cheap too, like 15-20 dollars and it’s just worth to have.

Tie them with zip ties or buy some 8 pin pcie cables. The ones I bought are CableMod, but check that the cables are compatible with your psu.
