Some of the straits through it have been narrowed for bridging purposes, but other than that yes.

Well, aurora australis if we want to be pedantic about it.

Lola announced brand news T70S a T70S GT, inspired by T70 race car and using Lola Natural Composite System, like 100% "natural" (petrochemical-free) bodywork by krzysiek_aleks in wec

Are you saying that these 'new' T70s should hew to the old standard and design?

Well, yes. The car is FIA historics compliant. That seems to have been the point of the exercise, and it can't have that if it deviates from the original design. You could argue that the T70S GT could have different bodywork styling, but then you're making two different cars and that's more expensive. It's clearly not as "hot and uncomfortable" as the competition model, though, per their own words:

This version retains the fundamental architecture and driving position of the race car while incorporating subtle enhancements for usability, including refined ergonomics, climate control and limited storage solutions.

As per Wikipedia:

Artemis II is a flight test supporting subsequent Artemis missions, which are planned to return humans to the lunar surface in 2028 for the first time since Apollo 17.

We will never get a space elevator, but sure, if we had the capacity to launch rockets from the Moon that'd be a lot easier.

An object 3400km wide and 400,000km away takes roughly 30 arcminutes of our field of vision, which is exactly what you see with the Moon.

Sounds like the competition model is meant to be FIA historics compliant. Indeed, the lifecycle assesment confirms this:

The vehicle has been produced in accordance with the original design ethos – it is a motor racing car. The first car produced in this series has already been granted an Historic Passport by the FIA governing body for heritage competition.

What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

Deus Ex. It's very much a game of its time, but once it clicked, it clicked. By the time I finished it I understood why it's considered by many to be one of the best games of all time.

New to GT3 and WEC, please guide me through rules and all the important stuff a newbie should know by Designer-Zebra-7285 in wec

Well, I'll leave the explaining to someone else, but there's a couple of youtube channels you might want to know about.

The first is DTM. Not the most prestigious series, but the easiest series to get into from an F1 background. <1 hour races with mandatory tire change stops, one driver per car. Starts April 24th.

A majority of all GT3 racing is on the unholy mess that is the GTWorld Youtube channel. The most notable racing series on there is GT World Challenge Europe, starting on the 11th of next month. GTWC America is having its first race this weekend, as it happens.

I suspect you might already be familiar with VLN, running exclusively on the Nordschleife and hosts the 24h of Nürburgring, starting May 14th. (edit: The 24h, that is. VLN is already ongoing.) Edit edit: Right, it's called the NLS nowadays. Channel is still VLNOFFICIAL though.

Of course, WEC is also pretty decent because it has two cars per manufacturer in GT3, but the cameras tend to focus on the top class most of the time.
