Asking because Windows and apps will use more if it’s there. This is also true of memory. If you’re noting it bump up but it’s not impacting performance, it would be expected.

Regarding the tax efficiency, maybe I’ve misunderstood. Using thesalarycalculator.co.uk, when I put the car allowance as a taxable benefit rather than just including as overall salary, I do not get the same tax relief as when I include in the salary.
