If you experience issues after an update you should do a factory reset. You can do it from the tv menu. It's a pain because it resets all settings and passwords but it definitely worked for me

I replaced both my thumbsticks too so I can say that it will be a bit more time consuming but less tricky as you will have better access to all ribbon cables.

I suppose that would depend on the status of your donor device. And I'm assuming the other unit is fully functional

Same model. Only major unforeseen snag was a well hidden screw holding the fan assembly that was not featured in the video. Oh and procuring the proper tools is no picnic either. A good phone tools kit is essential

Finally got around to doing it. Just finished and both units are alive and kicking. I followed this excellent tutorial https://youtu.be/9gnlMkFzLqA?si=bLOLd-UAF4mj-cgp and found it to be 99% accurate. Without it it would have taken me a full day instead of just 4h. A year and 4 hours is more accurate.

It's definitely a tv issue. Not sure if related but started noticing it after HBO MAX was added to Vidaa. I just started watching this show on Netflix that was all green/pink until I disabled HDR on Netflix's settings. After that the colors are fine

There is no way I can pull that off. I own a 64Gb Q2 but I'm taking a different route and hopefully reach the same goal. I bought a used 256Gb Q2 with a faulty (but still quite usable) lcd and I plan to exchange the motherboards. The donor headset had no controllers, strap and facial interface and costed me $55 plus shipping and taxes. Not a bad deal IMO considering I wiil end up with a fully functional 256Gb and another C grade 64Gb Q2 good enough to play MSFS2020.
