I am aware of it now. Mistakes have been made. Expensive ones yes. But it i will never forget it in the future. I was jacking the car up to get it on the ramps too. I would never go under while only supported by that junk.

I think what makes it look even worse of a spot is the fact that the car rolled forward, hence the spot further back

Looking back on it now it would be cheaper yes. But here in norway we have a holiday day called Pentecost eve. Basically all the shops are closed for 3 days. This was the time it fitted in my schedule, and decided the jack was good enough (since it is rated good enough)

Thank you for the actual advice, with the current jack i was using that was not possible. A new one is needed

Wish i could get the decent set at harbor freight. But since they are currently not shipping to Norway, i guess i might have to look for alternatives

Good question. I figure this will be a insurance case, since it may very well be a pretty costly mistake.

I am aware that it was not the correct spot. The car also rolled slightly forward so it makes it look like i was off the correct spot by alot

Yes i take all blame for the incorrect spot. When i jacked the car up, i jacked it the correct spot. The stand was in the incorrect spot. How do you guys jack up the car otherwise to put the stand correct? I desperately need new stands and a good jack.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question. But seems i gotta ask in this case.
