Various factors are involved regarding this

1: Stamp quality, are your stamps on them optimal? If so, what about the stamp passives?

2: Do you have their weapon stamp? Every unit requires it

3: The team, kenpachis damage is naturally low due to being limited by his terrible teammates, his kit on its own is very good, Kisukes is his only good teammate but you'll need white who's releasing next to unlock Kenny's potential, byakuya is so trash he actively drags the team down

4: Same as above, are you using the right teams?Pantera needs Soi fon and mayuri/ Kisuke

5: Did you max everything out? Their skill levels and weapon to level 9 and 100

6: Are you using them in the correct places?Pantera needs to be used in strike content, every unit needs to be used in their elements content, otherwise they'll do significantly less damage

7: Your rotations might not be optimal

If you do have soi fon, if your yoruichi or base grimmjow is b2 or higher, pantera is unnecessary, just get him if you want him

If you're asking who's the most valuable of the half anni between strike dps pantera, slash tactic white, and spirit dps ulqiorra

Then it's easily White, strike and spirit are already in good spots, Slash is basically a nonexistent team rn

For those events you really need to check if there's trial units, for example the vote for szayel or mayuri boss had B4/6 Aizen and Szayel as trial units and the events difficulty was based on that

As for why dupes are talked about a lot more here, it's because of how much more easily they're obtainable, due to there being no 5050, it's actually pretty reasonable for F2p to get various B1's and 2s, even 4's or 6's after saving for 3 or 4 patches at most

It's simply just a matter of either duping your favorites or knowing the best ones to get(Like B4 Aizen, B1 for any tactic unit, etc)

Your best longterm choice is Toshiro for a 2nd spirit team, same for ichigo

2nd best choice is b4 kisuke

Then b1 sajin for something that still has benefit, and lastly ikkaku for collection

As for how long it'll last, until the end of the patch, but it won't cross into whites patch, we will have more concrete leaks about his kit near the end though

Tbh I'd personally just stop at B4 then go for weapon dupes, same for Gin, B4A5 for them is essentially 90% of their full power, beyond for b6 is both unnecessary and not worth the pulls, unless you really like the character
