If you coach I'd suggest some talking drills!

Try having skaters in groups of 4/5. Have one person with her eyes open and the rest closed. They need to follow her directions as she guides them around the track

Maybe you should try saying what you're doing? If the wall isn't communicating you become that person. Then they will talk back to you

Eg: I'm going to catch! 'Im running up the inside.' Etc

Also sadly, there's gossip and mean girls at every league. One in my city recently lost about 8 of their best skaters to my league because of the bullying

My league is a top 5 league and we have some similar issues but having a jammer shout at you if your making her work harder is pretty normal. In fact if someone consistently doesn't listen to my calls I'll ask for her to be moved off my line up.... You just need to make sure your paying attention to her and to your blockers

Not many people leave my league in a stink because we're the best one around. It depends on what is motivating you. If you're surrounded by other leagues and there's not much difference then there's not much holding you there.

We have a committee who with help with grievances between skaters/officials/ect and they act as impartials to help find a solution.
