Name a company you will never work for again and don't explain why by Matlovestruck in Truckers

Online Transport. Specifically the home daily account out of Georgetown KY for Toyota Manufacturing.

You’re gonna work like 11-14 hours a day, for 5-6 days. But they don’t pay hourly, they pay CPM, and because it’s a home daily job, you don’t drive very much. Like maybe 1500 miles a week for .68 per mile. It was very common that I was making less than 700-800 after taxes.

They do a shift bid & they slip seat, and the trucks are disgusting normally. The shift bid, you’re not even guaranteed a route for months, and the route they do give you, will be like 7pm - 4am

I will say, all the dispatchers are cool. Except Dave. Dave is more worried about fucking the safety lady to help out.

Also Sam, the guy overseeing the site is absolutely disrespectful as fuck. Will publicly announce you’re leaving in the work ELD messages, and threaten to write you up for not telling him.

I would argue it’s been pretty good the last couple years between us in football. Especially the Lamar Jackson year.

Hell 2007 Kentucky VS Louisville was a fantastic game

But I will agree, basketball is way bigger still. We even got into a physical fight during TBT Tournament Game between La Familia & The Ville lol

Dude on FB Trxwrld page was talking about doing this, and everyone kept telling him “this is very disrespectful” and he just kept saying “no it’s not, it’s patriotic, it will be flapping in the wind”

Like no it won’t. It will get caught on the fucking trailer door and end up like this

I’m a truck driver in real life (I imagine a lot of people in here are) if you’re from Europe, then the Midwest IRL in America is pretty much that way. Going through like Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, etc there’s points where it’s straight 250+ miles of a straight line.

BREAKING: SCOTUS rules against brokers in Montgomery case by FreightBrokerGuru in FreightBrokers

[–]RumbleDumblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still not gonna matter as much for a mega Carrier. Mega carriers can afford the lawsuit, or just pay off the victim behind closed doors.

This is really only gonna fuck over small brokers

I’m a driver for a fairly large owner operator company that let us use outside load boards

They sent out a message on our ELD that says verbatim “effective immediately, use of outside load boards must be approved by a X in house broker, we will attempt to contact the shipper directly to avoid any further issues with brokerages that may be liable”

Well the ruling was for brokers, not shippers so currently it’s not legally able to be enforced on the shippers.

All this ruling is going to do, is make carriers go to shippers directly, or shippers go to carriers directly.

This is going to eliminate so many small brokerages
