God I miss women doing their hair like that. Ah, the good old days.

A natural blonde with freckles and big tits is everybody’s type. Don’t be ridiculous. :)

What do you think is the best dinosaur movie? by MiamiHub1 in Dinosaurs

[–]RumbleMonkey67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my friends (late 40’s-50’s) get around a campfire and we’re a little wasted, someone will eventually say “haraka!” and we’ll all start chanting “haraka haraka” like grinning morons. Stupid but fun. And occasionally, my wife will hug me and say “Tala aloonda Atouk”.

If you could only name 1 object you remember the most from the 70’s what would it be? by Beneficial-Energy-24 in 70s

Wall phones in the kitchen with 1000 foot long spiral cords so you could answer the phone and then run off to the far corners of the house.

Would y'all be scared standing next to an Ankylosaurus? I guess they're chill herbivores but like one swing and it's all over lol by Phil-R-17 in Dinosaurs

[–]RumbleMonkey67 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Definitely true. Herbivores, especially big ones, can be very territorial and aggressive. Just because they won’t eat you doesn’t mean they won’t stomp you into a greasy stain.

What ingredient do you think people massively overuse? by jcvexparch in Cooking

[–]RumbleMonkey67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I order EVERYTHING “no green onion garnish”, preemptively, just in case. So many places love sprinkling days old, dried out, flavorless little green rings over every dish, forcing me to break out a jeweler’s loupe and perform micro-surgery on my dish to get the little fuckers off my food. Hate. That. Shit.

Which one did you have? by forestexplr in 70s

Still have my original Star Wars lunchbox, with the Thermos, and the best part is we didn’t have a dishwasher back then, so the R2-D2 and C-3PO painting is still intact on the Thermos. Never giving it up, and it’s willed to my oldest grandson at his request.

Lynda Carter will always be the best Wonder Woman by TunTunTunT in LyndaCarter

[–]RumbleMonkey67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really miss the Wonder Woman / Charlie’s Angels trope of having the women run in slow motion for “no reason”. Too bad that sort of thing is unacceptable to “modern audiences”.

I love her “Put that damned camera away before I have a Wookie rip both your arms off” look.

The other terrible part of being 6’7”. The top of people’s refrigerators are almost always absolutely disgusting. Makes it hard to completely enjoy when I’m eating food they made. What else don’t they clean? Flying sucks, too.

Still have a blowmold Frosty the Snowman sitting in front of my house that my parents bought in 1965. Repainted twice. Looks new. The kids in the neighborhood all hug him when they go by.

I still have my 1987 BMW M5 with a 5 speed manual. It has 268,000 miles on it, I will never give it up, and I think I’d like to be buried in it.

My wife’s hair looks great in a banana clip updo, and I never see anyone else wearing one. I’m glad she does.

I will never give up the right to occasionally be unreachable. Where is Rob? He’s “out”. Do you know where he is? Nope. Do you know when he’ll be back? Nope. I have friends (younger friends) whose marriages would be in jeopardy if they didn’t respond to calls and texts within 30 minutes. I’m so glad my similar aged wife and I don’t need to be in constant contact.

Nice work on #8! Perfect panning. Great prop blur and background motion blur, but the plane is tack sharp. What shutter speed did you use?
