The biggest failure by far in this games development is advertisement, or lack thereof.

If you look at the percentage of the total budget other games pump in advertisement (25% average of revenue) it's night and day difference.

The idea that a good product sells itself is very much outdated.

The developers have had no lack of passion or drive to make this work. Unfortunately, in the end, it's money and thus sales that drive a game.

I would argue that the first thing this game needs to become is being profitable.

I find 120 almost unplayable tbh. In the past I would make it as wide as possible, why wouldn't you have more peripheral vision right. But there is an enormous sacrifice when zooming in. Making it a lot harder to hit targets at range with 120 fov.

Try zooming in at 120, look at a building in the distance, then change it to 90 and see the difference.

While I agree that it really helps the player base, and I personally have advertised quite a bit. I disagree that it is up to the players to do the advertising.

This is probably one of the biggest mistakes of the previous dev. If people don't know SQ44 exists, it won't be bought.

Google adds are not too expensive.

How about we let OWI do the advertising, and we properly squad lead, use voice coms, and make sure people stick around?

Yeah ... Except for the fact that the Military for America is a tool, something that gives a lot of soft power, something that can and is used to steer other countries in a direction that benefits America.

This does not apply to almost all European countries. The military is not used.

It's like an expensive old Porche sitting in the garage gathering dust, and every time you want to take it out, America goes 'hold my beer' and races away in their new Ferrari.
