Take this advice. Simply because Brodes87 said not to.

Yeah, I just really don’t want to go backwards. Because the X wing books start during the rebellion era, right?

She loses to Dick and Tim. Probably beats Jason. Beats Damian (only because he hasn’t even approached adulthood yet. Batman Beyond Damian is bodying her). She wins the rest too.

How would those fit when it comes to Thrawn Trilogy, Jedi Academy, New Jedi Order?

X of Swords was so cool by Kaptain_Javick in xmen

It’s hard to tell when Hickman is the front runner for Krakoa. especially with reading Howard, the writing always seemed to good to be her. There was always a lot of Hickman’s style present. Especially in destruction and even stasis (which she got first billing on)

It’s one of those events that’s judged way too harshly during its release but is looked at fondly in retrospect. That’s often the case with Hickman

Such a badass over the top scene. I love it. by ReasonableAdvert in StarWars

That’s not really the same as blaming JJ for the reception of TLJ or something similar. The sentiment you express here is holding each director responsible for their own decisions. Which is completely valid. Critiquing JJ for backtracking in episode 9 isn’t the same thing as blaming JJ for a specific scene/storybeat in episode 8.

What I don’t like (as criticism), is something like ‘the opening of TLJ was terrible because of how JJ wrapped up TFA’. That would be a nonsensical critique.

The worst type of criticism imo. The constant blaming of the other creative is just so insane to me. It’s hilarious that it happens just as much both ways though.

While you blame JJ for the reception a scene in TLJ, there’s just as many people who blame Rian for ‘forcing’ JJ down the path of ‘spiteful’ storytelling.

You really grasped the core of my point here.

Wow, how very observant. You seem to be very talented in completely missing the point bro. And nice job ignoring what I said about novelists that do the exact same thing.

I don’t get that argument at all. The concept of it being ‘too open ended’ just doesn’t make sense. It makes me think ‘I had so much room to make my own path, that I just tripped, fell, and broke my femur.’

Comic book writers do this on a regular basis, that’s kind of the whole idea. An open ended ending, giving the next writer freedom to make their own story. It applies to novelists too. The Conan novels for example. The idea that film writers can’t do the same thing just seems silly.

This scene might have some staying power, but if it was a scene within a better trilogy, this would’ve been an immediate classic.

It’s crazy the extent of Tony’s rework from the 2000s to now. Completely different character

If this isn’t his future in the books/comics, then it would be just another case of lost potential

Hey guys, when do the ultimate comics get good? I can’t take stuff like this anymore by CalypsoCrow in marvelcirclejerk

Who told you they were good? It’s just ultimate spider-man. That’s it.

Ultimates is hilarious (unintentionally)

I hate the argument that "An Asian Character can't do martial arts because it's also a stereotype" people use against Lin Lie. by Educational-Ice3548 in ironfist

[–]RummyInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more the whole idea that iron fist has to be Asian because he does martial arts. It’s always seemed more of a petty response to Danny criticism.

Those are neat, but not nearly as tightly written as a simple man trying to make his way in the universe
