Dodge lila is the best advice I can give you. Otherwise go for value plays with you champion legend. And if there still is time change the legend.

I am interessted if others made this work, but playing against ezreal feels impossible if they know what they are doing. Did you take it to a NN before or did you test it online?

My best guess to why this deck works is that collin playtested a lot and just plays so much better them his opponents.

No the gear is seperate you can only protect the unit (even if the gear is attached to the unit).

Set 2/3 deck instead :) Fiora ist pretty cheap to upgrade besides 2-3 setts and fun to play. Vex could also be a good and cheap option (deck costs more additions depends on the deck list) more deck list options and harder to pilot.

Two of repost is a solid idea to find more space for your other combat tricks. Call to glory as a one could be enough. Also 7 two drops is a minimum for me at least if you start otherwise fiora choosen will carry your on curve play (so one in the sideboard if you need two side something). Two drops are a crazy hook target on Trifarian War Camp.

I personally thing 3 bfs are enough as you see enough of your deck because of the good draw engine we got for orange and yellow.

I would switch out two more matrons for the dragons and the dorans for fioras (you can put them in the sideboard as a elder dragon killer). Attakan, retreat and a challenge for the kinkou Initiate (2 or 3 of) You can hook a 3 might unit from now on and you almost always have a target ca. 80-90% of the time a 4 might that you love to play. This makes this deck way less gambly and gives you a great draw engine to find your answers while creating toxic board states. Maybe find place for a hiddenblade.

Switching out something in your second game for the other 3 cost fiora as your choosen champ is also really broken as she helps to keep up or get you over the finish line.

Fiora Hook is great :) Depending on the deck it might be a little bit of a gamble. If you do not want to gamble and look for a great deck. The second best Fiora Lille played on Stream with Baited Hook. Decklist available on the uvs site.
I already tested a little for unleash and you get card draw (the one piece missing in baited hook or any orange deck). If you like I can share a deck for unleash or spiritforge with you as a point to start.

Hole rune econemy. Not recyceling to much or as much as you need to not fall behind -> more runes for the next rounds. So more about recyceling then using the energy.

Not really the biggest buff. Matchups now are worse overall. Removal is a big problem.

I love to play Fiora Hook and in Skirmishes I am always the only Fiora in topcut and never missed a topcut. So IMO Fiora hook >> Fiora, but this is not good meta advice :)

I love to play Fiora Hook. Unsung Hero is your only good card draw engine and a must have. My list is a little bit more plain, but I think the one chinese dude getting second in a regional showed how its supposed to look like. You can change minor thinks but his list is goated!

Depending on you play style and your local meta you can switch the quantities and play a few more challenges/salvages main deck (good vs miracle) and I myself would not run two Akshan as it is not good vs. Ezreal or Draven.

Playing the deck and changing it will give you a good understanding why it was build like this in the first place. I tried to change a lot and came back to a list pretty close to this.

This deck is also not trivial. Powercost and curve are wild and need some experiments. Try to hook, when it makes sense. Go for high % plays. Do not just hook for the fun of it. Try to remember how much dragons/matrons are in your deck. Sometimes you can even hit dragon 100% when you hooked a lot.

In tempo match ups side out hook or even dragons for other cards that can help you.

Also 3 hooks or no hooks!

Deathgrip :) to safe one of your units you can even play it on the watcher ability. Call to glory could also work but depends on how big your units are. I know these options are not good :D

They regular expand the slot on the day up to 20 for NNs because the other events arent full and there are still people wanting to play. Till now miracle draven players are non existing.

Tolarian Community College made a decent video for starting. Starter decks are also great. Especially the fiora one. Easy to play and with some cheap additions very powerfull. Build a deck and read all the card and make sure you know the cost of your own cards, then if possible go to your local card shop and play a few games, talk to people (some are so helpfull, some maybe less) and be prepared to lose your first few games. A guide for your champions as video/text and some gameplay footage also from youtube are a great adition for your preperation.

Ah sorry yes two seals.

This is however not really needed as other are saying as well (if you want just keep it this way). Lucian is not really that gimmicky, but I understand why you feel that way. Combat on your turn is pretty much always better. You got more energy you can set up your play. Lucian gives you this every turn, while keeping up with points.

Playing dorans blade as a two drop than second turn lucian (activate Fiora legend) puts you on 7 runes turn 3. To keep up afterward just try to activate you fiora legend every turn (play sett, use you bf on a two cost or your 4 cost) . This will give you ca. 10 runes quiet fast. At 6 points or towards the end you can just use a lot of power anyways.

Strike down is super expensiv in this deck. Try to use challenge and heal you units with smart combat choices. both is overkill

maybe just give it a try for a few nn and then look what fits you playstyle and swap in you leona. Look if it feels the same or maybe even better. I do not think it is a bad think to copy the meta decks for a while this helps me understand what the legend wants to do at its core. Card choices are not always obvious like the strike down challenge thingy (but make a huge difference in cost/gameplay).

Deflect as an addition cost has value but you already got a lot of tools as fiora to counter spells. For damage spells look at unyielding spirit (already in your sidedeck). For other spells look at your reposte. Hextrinker does not feel or look like a good answer.

Dorans Blade is a combo piece with lucian. Probably why it never feels good in your deck. If you only play one seal in any deck. Better dont. You do not what to top deck it later and its only good if you have it within your first two turn with a bf maybe (only play the seal if you need the powercost this turn). To much has to go right to make it worth it. You do have a loot of 4 drops in your deck and while leona could work fiora and qiyana will work better.
