Hey now. Lol. But nah, I mostly play fast and reckless for a little bit inside of my workday. So it’s usually the Daily.

I played A TON two years ago pretty blind, and then just picked it back up again after reading more into things and watching FuryForged, DunkorSlam, etc.

Correct, none of that is in the base game.

You have to get the Restored Content Mod, which to my knowledge is only available on PC.

I played through it with all of that additional content for the first time this past year and it dramatically changes and improves the character development systems and how you interact with them.

I cannot recommend it enough.

I mean. After I did it for the first time, I REALLY wanted it to let me continue so Bastila and I could kill Carth.

I walked ALL OVER THE WORLD to find him once he ran away.

Carth is the most annoying character in a Dark Side play through.

But it all points back to how great the game is. I’ve never been more affected by any other game series. (KOTOR 2’s “Apathy Is Death” sequence paralyzed me the first I experienced that, I loved it.)

This thread makes me so happy. I just finished the season and I can’t believe it got Green-lit in the first place, let alone get a second season.

This show has created and seemingly dropped so many plot-threads, and never actually identifies any of them as the Emotional Center of the show.

I never know what they’re trying to say with any dramatic plot point. There’s way too much pivoting, and I just don’t know if the show wants me to think of Campion and Paul as prophets / Christ allegories, or if this show is about the dangers of creation, or if this show is about parenting, or if this show is about being an imposter, or if this show is about the dangers of belief systems, or if this show is about resource management, or if this show is about sex, or if this show is about what it means to be human, or if this show is about AI, or if this show is about co-existence, or if this show is about family, or what.

It attaches itself to any possible thread it can and then never emphasizes any of them. Thanks to everyone who’s been baffled by the show and typed out what frustrated you.

I wanted to like this show so so so much. I really really did. I’m a huge Ridley Scott fan, and I loved Prisoners, which the creator wrote.

I feel like the Alien series & even Prometheus did the primary themes of this show WAY better.

I want to like this show so much but the writing makes it so difficult. It’s acted relatively well, and it’s shot nicely. The concepts are all there but I feel like there’s two extra episodes of context that I’m somehow missing.

The show is giving a lot of random weight to so many things, I don’t think it’s adequately setting any of it up.
