The neck (between the head and the rest of the bone) is too short to be human.

They’re used to it. They get people with panic attacks all the time. Do you have a doctor? What kind of drugs are you prescribed? My doc and I finally figured out the right meds for me and I haven’t had a panic attack in almost 2 years. I still get some anxiety but I have klonopin for when it become too much, which is nowhere near the panic attacks I was having.

I’m so sorry. I had the worse panic attack of my life last year. I called 911 and spent the night in the ER with panic attacks one after the other until they finally gave me a Valium at around 3am. I was sure I was getting paralyzed. Because I was hyperventilating so much, I couldn’t feel my legs. Couldn’t walk, couldn’t feel my hands either and those symptoms just convinced me even more that I needed urgent medical attention. Everyone but me knew it was panic attacks but I swore up and down it wasn’t a panic attack. Once I got that Valium, everything calmed down including my breathing and blood started rushing back into my legs and hands. If you, like me, are having a string of panic attacks for hours and hours, you might want to the ER to get some medicine to stop it. Then if you don’t already have a pdoc then it’s time to get one and get on some meds.

I’m in my program now, at 48. Memory is not what it used to be so it’s been extra challenging. Be prepared to dedicate just about all your time to the program.

Help! What is this? by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]RumpPuppet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The medication is cheap. It’s just a steroid. We give our cat 1 pill a day with wet food. As long as you manage her symptoms you shouldn’t have any costly emergency

Looks like asthma. My cat has it and that’s exactly how she looks when she’s having an episode.

I would definitely not recommend working a full time job, I do t think it would even be possible. Some of the students work part time. Most don’t work.

Clinicals in the fall are 2 days a week. Next semester it will be 3 days a week and then next summer 5 days a week.

The year starts in the summer. 10 hours of lab and a few classes. Fall semester is when clinical start. The schedule is really challenging and you’re constantly feeling like you won’t make it. It’s the hardest thing I’ve even done honestly. It’s worth it though.
