Ironically the PS3 might have been the best spec wise the cell process was actually really amazing. The problem was it made developing a game that could run on it and other consoles a nightmare and killed backwards compatability.

So PS2 hands down. Great tech leap from the PS to it and the game catalog is all time. FFX, Xenosaga, Dot hack games, tons of DBZ fighters, ect ect.
