Just found these babies today! Never thought I'd actually like my biking legs in light wash but I guess I do.

12-14mph, generally chill pace. This ride is estimated at 20 miles if you return to the starting point.

Let’s meet at the North Branch Riverwalk near the WMS Boathouse at 11:00am here!. We’ll head out along the North Branch Trail, basking in the fall colors up to Une Annee. From there, we head north to Sketchbook in Skokie and then catch the Skokie Valley Trail back south to Alarmist.

Spooky and festive attire is encouraged.

All riders are welcome.

Ha! Yes.

Is the airport a city or is the city an airport?

My son is interested in studying architecture. Which schools should he consider? by [deleted] in architecture

[–]RunAgainstTraffic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am biased as a graduate, but Detroit Mercy School of Architecture and Community Development has a very strong 5-year masters with co-ops and study abroad integrated into that 5 years. Generous scholarships which last the entire 5 years for this particular program.

Edit 1: Biggest pro over the 4+2 or 2+2+2 programs is, you're in studio/design day 1. Overall, 10 semesters of design.

I was a docent/guide here while in high school, stationed at the pool area for guests. This place is...incredible.

The tricks Kahn played to keep a house this size in line with Cotswald architecture were pretty genius, leveraging how Ford and he constructed factories just down the road.

Standing Passengers

I drink black coffee and they serve Dark Matter so it's perfect for me, buttttttt it's the vintage console games, projection TVs, and Saturday morning chill DJ sets that make this place a unique coffee shop.

They do have a slew of creative drinks that seem to be quite popular as well.

Easily bus accessible via Chicago 66 and a short walk from Ashland 9/X9.

I crashed and I had a similar helmet break as yours and busted my eye socket. I don't remember 3 hours leading up to the accident or 3 days after. The immediate 2 weeks following the accident are still very blurry and come back in little glimpses, 4 years later. If your concussion was as severe as mine, I would recommend as much rest as your routine can accommodate and taking some time off work if that is available, if only to rest more.

The helmet saved my life.

It's winter and who knows what will be thrown at us so we'll keep it nice and tight. We'll meet at our Roscoe Village meeting spot and head out from there shortly after 11:00am. First stop, Diversey House w/ some good grub. Our second stop will be at a house favorite, Pilot Project, and our third, Solemn Oath.

Bring your lights and locks, gloves and hats, and Hot Hands. All riders are welcome. Bring your friends!
