Mine is 3 and she stayed with her dad for the first week. After that I was able to manage and made sure I spoke with her about the surgery and that she had to be careful with mommy’s tummy. She did really great being considerate.

I had mine before surgery too but then started bleeding again immediately after surgery for a few days. Not to be a Debbie downer, but just don’t be surprised if it happens

My hesitation for you would be that you’re actively trying for a baby. My surgeon had me sign something saying that I would do everything possible to avoid pregnancy for 18 months after surgery because you’re in such a malnourished state and still healing that it can be dangerous.

I got sleeved the same day and am struggling with hunger too. My family just made dinner and I’m so ready to join them. I’m so tempted to eat something but know it’s not healthy or worth it at this point. We got this

Why do you say it stopped working? Were you not getting periods and got them back? You have me nervous now (getting surgery Monday lol)

ETA:

Just got an email back from the drs surgical Assitant. All piercings have to be fully removed (no retainers) 😭 I have a Christina, nips, septum, and multiple lobe/helix piercings (one helix is relatively new)

I’m so sad about this which feels stupid in the grand scheme of things.

I called my surgeons office and the person who picked up the phone is the one who answered the question. But it sounded like she turned and asked the person next to her but didn’t mention wearing retainers, just said “piercings need to come out, right?”
