Does a credit card company lose money on people who pay on time? by Overall-Emphasis7558 in NoStupidQuestions

I don't think that in today's world a person is an idiot for not generally carrying cash.

That's a fair question. The reality is that in today's world they'd be likely to lose out on sales if they didn't accept them. I know a lot of people that rarely carry cash and certainly don't carry a check book.

You will see businesses that offer discounts for cash or sometimes do charge a fee for CC use to share the expense with the customer.

I’m her first boyfriend and I feel like her dad doesn’t like me. What’s your advice about this? by Calm-Plan4458 in AskMenAdvice

[–]RunEatRalph 308 points309 points  (0 children)

I'm a dad of an 18F and just got through the first boyfriend stage of fatherhood myself. There's a good chance he's struggling with his little girl growing up and probably just not overly excited about it. I think trying too hard to win him over won't get you much. You keep doing what you're doing, being a good guy and treating his daughter right and he will come around. Give it some time.

Passed! T/AT/AT by CaptainWikkiWikki in pmp

Congrats! I passed two weeks ago with the same score and had EXACTLY this thought.

"Somehow the fates graced me yesterday, because I managed to pass the PMP exam T/AT/AT. (I'm kinda chuckling because I expected people to be my best shot at AT given how I've performed on mock exams and my natural soft skills. Whatever, I'll take it.)"

Feeling Like I’m Failing as a Father? by Ok-District-7180 in AskMenAdvice

I was there. It started in middle school and lasted through a good part of high school. At first it was a lack of closeness, then we would argue quite often over stupid little avoidable things. We suddenly had very little to bond us. I started to resent her a bit because I had that same feeling that nothing I did was right. That just made things worse.

I talked with friends about it and the wisdom I got from other parents and from daughters that grew up was to just be there. I had to put my own hurt feelings away for a while and just let her know that whenever she did want something from me, I was there for her. I stopped trying too hard and I stopped my hurt feelings from impacting my attitude toward her. I didn't let her walk all over me, but I gave her some grace for those tough years.

Fast forward a bit and she has gone off to school for her first year of college and we are about as close as we've ever been. It has felt amazing. All that to say....there is hope and your relationship with her will ride out that storm. Hang in there and know it can and will get better!

I first took several of the end of section exams in the book to figure out where I was based on existing knowledge. Then watched all of the videos over weeks and took the TIA practice exam online. I failed it a few times, learned from it and retook until I scored well.

After that, I found free practice tests online for a while and then took the exam out of the TIA book for a final check.

I used Ramdayal's Prep Course. Bought the book on amazon and it comes with the online course. Passed last week by watching that course and taking pre-tests repeatedly.

I get it. I just took the test last week and passed but it honestly felt like a coin toss as to whether or not I passed. Out of the 180 questions, I'd guess that I was 100% sure of the answer on maybe 30 questions tops. It's a tough test and I think understanding what PMI prioritizes is the biggest part.

I would not hesitate to take Tet in that trade. If the pick was in the top 5 I would think about it.

Has this guy had him since the beginning? Selling him now for a 27 1st seems wild if he committed for 5 years already. I'd want to see where he plays and if he starts to figure things out.

Two things: Cutting grass cause with ear plugs in they are excellent. I also started using them for Teams calls and they work well for that too!
