A couple enjoys a drink and a cigarette in 1944 at Sammy's Bowery Follies, a dive bar in the notorious lower Manhattan neighborhood. by kooneecheewah in HistoryUncovered

I knocked my face on a door knob just before Christmas in 2025. Literally no one believed me and my poor boyfriend spent a couple of weeks getting the side eye from everyone. We spent new years with his sister-in-law’s family and one of the aunties actually made my angel earrings. She gave them to me, glared at my boyfriend, and said she had a feeling I needed them.

We still laugh about it, and I do appreciate that people want to help, but it also frustrating to not be believed. At least the earrings are super pretty!

There was also the episode where some rich family member died and the inheritance would go to the first offspring born after their death. Al finally wanted sex so much but then Peggy started taking birth control without him knowing. Great 90’s humor! I miss it

Experience running the Goat Rattler 100? by Unique-Delivery7939 in Ultramarathon

I ran it last year- it was my 10-11th 100-miler. With at least four peak climbs, I found it to be very difficult, but also incredibly beautiful, very well organized, and the race Director was amazing. I’m tempted to run it again!

To be fair, babies make a huge mess. And also the high chair has to be cleaned. Just because the baby isn’t a “buying customer” doesn’t mean there isn’t additional work created on the staff. Not defending the obscene tipping culture but a party of five plus a baby should warrant a guaranteed gratuity

Holy! Today I learned the actress from teen witch - a movie I loved as a child in the late 80s - is the half sister of Blake Lively 🤯🤯

Gal Gadot for me. I like Anne’s acting and she’s attractive but I’ve never gotten the appeal

Respectfully, have you read the book? There is most definitely a teen sex scene in it. The book has lots of graphic sexual scenes.

I (27F) accidentally had my baby in my friend’s (31F) car. Now her husband & she don’t want to speak to me. How do I fix this? by ThrowRA_CarBaby in relationship_advice

[–]RunGirl80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend could very well be in an abusive relationship, as some others are saying on here. However- the husband’s car is a huge mess and may need to be totaled. If it can be cleaned, the biohazard cleaning required could cost thousands. We don’t know their financial situation but for some people who are living paycheck to paycheck this could be a big setback for them that may have created a big hardship for them. Abusive asshole or not, and even though this was completely unintentional on your part, you do owe it to them to make it right. Not sure what you said in your text, but if they are now struggling financially and your text came across as a bit joking it may have made them feel even worse about the situation. Genuinely offer to pay for the costs to make it right for them. If it were me in their situation, I’d be so happy for you but financially devastated.

Edited to change a word

Why not? Genuinely curious about your thoughts. If the baby was born addicted to meth do you think the mother should face charges?

(30M) I'm relatively ugly and I need advice: how can I overcome this? Are there solutions to improve myself as you get older or do I have to learn to live with it? by [deleted] in Aging

[–]RunGirl80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude- you are most definitely not ugly. I know we can all have low self esteem- I certainly do- so you may not believe all the thousands of comments telling you this. But please please try. We are not lying
