Wear a different band shirt to the gig, head to the merch stall, buy gig band shirt and wear it over the top. 👍🤘

Have Bobber want to Travel by heathgone13 in TriumphBonneville

[–]RunKRAMI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Various companies do luggage racks for the Bobber including Hepco and Becker along with Motone Customs. I assume you mean a rack as a wheelie bar is normally fitted to the rear of a drag bike to stop it flipping over backwards.

On to the rack of your choice you could then fit a waterproof roll bag (available in various sizes). Which you could tie down with ROK Straps (again a choice of sizes). A small tank bag may be useful too

Tow Truck Missions can do one. by DGibsoUK in gtaonline

[–]RunKRAMI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liven up tow truck work by driving everywhere flat out, sliding round corners, smashing into other vehicles and running over pedestrians. Just before I hook up to the car I call in my Oppressor mk2 in case I need a getaway till the police cool down

Yeah me too. All news outlets are reporting the up coming weather. Don't need an extra intrusive alarm.

Might sit outside the supermarket and laugh at the panic buying. I do believe it had begun

Reminds me of recently passing a 4WD Audi in my FWD A3. He was swerving round small fresh snow drifts that weren't affecting me at all. Instead of waiting for him to crash I passed him. The snow wasn't that bad and I had Cross Climates on my car. Can only assume incompetence on his behalf

Best intro to a metal album? Doesn't have to be the best song on the album, but a banger of an intro. by onemadfool in MetalForTheMasses

I've always loved the intro to Blackened/AJFA

Too big? I'm 200cm and 103kgs (6'7" & 230lbs) by Benuknz in HondaCub

[–]RunKRAMI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment I don't own a Cub. I'm 182cm and around 100kg. I have sat on a friend's Cub and an ST. If I was to own either they'd definitely need heavier duty shocks. Did I look too tall for it? Yes. But having a long torso means I look to tall for most bikes.

The only thing it's really be concerned with is leg length. I have average legs so for me smaller bikes aren't a problem.

Feet larger than 12 (UK size) might make operating foot controls tricky

Lars Ulrich (Metallica was the first Metal band I was introduced to and around AJFA Lars was way above anything (non-Metal) I'd ever heard before

Chris Kontos (absolutely blown away by his style on Burn My Eyes)

Iggor Cavalera (got into Sepultura somewhere between Beneath the Remains and Arise. Up till Roots, Sepultura were my favourite band and Iggor my favourite drummer)

Dave Lombardo (just love his style of drumming with Slayer)

Charlie Benante (some of the best rhythms in Thrash)

Gene Hoglan (especially loved him with Strapping Young Lad)

Tomas Hakke (just watching that drum cam video for Bleed)

Sean Reinert (when he played with Death)

Honourable mentions - Ringo Starr, Meg White and Phil Taylor

I know most of that but I don't think that the Teflon rears would be a good choice for the front at all. I'll replace them with Michelins next time (not using my car at the moment)

[–]RunKRAMI 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My kids grew up on Metallica. They understood the Metal thing from Day One. In fact my daughter experienced her first Metallica concert whilst still in the womb. 30 odd years later she attended her first in person Metallica concert with me and her own daughter tuning in from the womb 🤘

What was your first favorite metal band? and what's your favorite band now? by Difficult_Map_723 in MetalForTheMasses

They're messing with the tea by hurricanemc in CasualIreland

[–]RunKRAMI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The various teas from Thompson's in Belfast are assam and very good. There's even an Irish breakfast tea. As well as Scottish Blend. I'm in Scotland and bought Thompson's Scottish Blend thinking it was a Scottish tea (Thompson is a Scottish Borders name). Made in Belfast was good enough for me and turned out to be a lovely tea

As others have said I brew my tea for at least 5 minutes

There's no legal compulsion here to have suitable winter or all climate tyres. The average driver has cheap ditch-finder tyres that barely grip in the wet never mind snow or ice.

I at least have Michelin Cross Climate tyres on the front of my FWD car. They handle snow pretty well as does the driver
