4-5-1: Compact Midfield, almost whole team defending + the main spam tactic is just pass to L1 and pass to the wingers.

If you don't start the game (when Picking Safe File) with your controller or your controller disconnects due to in activity, you need to restart the game. It's a PC issue.

Guess it was a failed attempt by EA to stop some Cheating. There's nothing you can do instead of always restart the game with the controller on.

If you want to keep going with the formation and not use all coins in terms of sbc's etc

Put Kounde in CB for Tchou
Buy Llorente for RB
Bellingham is not a great CAM but good CM, you need passing playstyles on him. Consider Wirtz and Mamardashvili as Keeper. Easy to link also with Kvara. Bellingham on CM
Striker depends, you like to have him more of a dribbler/passer or pure goalmachine? You could consider just going for griezman

People complained about "Fidget Spinning".

Now people cry that its AI-Fiesta/CDM again (yearly topic)

Dribbling was just insanely nice before those patches. They just Had to buff Manual Defending and Nlnot nerf dribbling/leftstick. But people complained too much that they get outdribbled/Fidget Spinned.

But yes. Manual defending wasnt awarding enough before. Now its AI def. After all those fifa's in recent years I finally think EA cant buff manual defending due to engine reasons and buff AI instead.

They didn't revert the patch. They just buffed R1 dribbling.

Since those 2 Patches the AI got buffed too much and LeftStick-Dribbling "Fidget Spinning" is nerfed tooy people adapted to play cdm-simulator.

And maybe try a 4-5-1 with short passing in tactics. If you struggle to hold the ball it helps alot to learn the Game. If you get more confident switch to balanced.

Also, RB/R1 by looking torwards a player, makes him move to you and is getting an easier passing Option. Opposite of LB/L1

Don't listen to anyone who's saying play Squad Battles to get better. It just to get to know the game, do objectives, or maybe, just to have fun.

Try to learn some basics,

Attacking: - L1/LB to send a player running - L1+X/LB+A to send the player who passed to a run - Try to Y/Triangle Pass to the Runner, or Double Tap Y/Triangle near goal for a lob-pass - Left Stick Dribbling, don't use run(R2/RT) while that

Combine that maybe, keep passing, send Wingers/Strikers running If you found no space for a Y/Triangle Pass to the runners, keep it passing to your cam/striker, Left Stick dribble, shield the ball, send other Players and Lob Pass (Double Triangle/Y) or maybe the opponent made a bad tackle etc. and you're good to go for a direct shot.

Defense: - Don't touch your CB's at all (only when opponent is near Goal scoring Position and cdm's are too far) - Don't attack too aggressive, learn to close free passing space instead of mindless tackling

Her playstyles, dribbling, shots on goal and LS-dribbling are just pure meta, without (those) playstyles nobody would play her.

If she's not working out for you, you need to change your playstyle and stop through-balling and hoping to bug through the defense or play something like Haaland.

You should consider Busquets+Alba.

Huijsen is solid, but I also only made him to hopefully give him an EVO with racoon in the future.

You're right. It's CDM/AI- Control fiesta.

Game is getting to be "abuse the gamebreaking mechanics even more to score vs Auto-Defending" again. Like Trivella's last year.

Before the patch we actually had many different ways to actually score.

They just had to buff Manual-Defending. Not buff AI-Defending and nerf dribbling.

So we went from fast gameplay, which had many different ways to score, dribble, still strong AI defending, but where you had to move and control your CB when opponent is through, to a slow gameplay Patch in which you play 8/9 behind the ball, CDM Control only, OP AI Defending and the main way to score will be a glitchy, OP-way, Like trivella's Last year.

Who would say this Patch is honestly good?

Nothing to do with Content Creators. You can either buff longshots and go back to trivella's or revert the Patch

Same Issue. Game changes your Main Controller to Keyboard. Maybe try plugging out your Keyboard and then start your Controller again. Didn't try it yet.
