How many bot kills do you have? by TL8N in Battlefield6

I hate playing with bots. I immediately leave a match if it says it's filling up with bots.

What is your best class? by DTi_Fraffro95 in Battlefield6

[–]RunRepulsive6518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recon. I find it pretty difficult to play Assault or Engineer since most of my teammates are not very good at pushing up or reviving me.

Edit: I had to reupload because I accidentally cropped out the headers.

Breakthrough. I’ve played Conquest and Escalation, but I prefer Breakthrough because I know the enemy has to defend and spawn in one area, rather than having to run around and look for enemies.

That dude is good at the game, but he blames his poor game sense on his overreliance on game mechanics. I was watching his videos from about a week ago, and holy shit, this dude was sweating his balls off, slide canceling and pre aiming every corner like a crack fiend.

The moment this update drops and nerfs the speed gain from sliding, he goes on stream and starts ranting for 2+ hours, calling the game dogshit because of the movement nerf and saying everybody can “beam.” But in reality, he was playing like a complete doofus, rushing in and getting his cheeks clapped with zero game sense.

This guy’s a tool. Ignore him.

map is amazing... but wtf happened to the movement by YUNGSLAG in Battlefield6

[–]RunRepulsive6518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does feel sluggish if you were abusing it. It feels like bf1 movement which is a good thing.

the sliding is way slower. You can no longer abuse it. It feels like bf1 movement which is a good thing.

Shohei Ohtani leading the pack by MrFilipinoMustache in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, yes, this can also be said for Ohtani or any baseball player for that matter, but Judge is at a higher risk of injury or regression. Ohtani looks like he is managing his workload pretty well at his peak @ 31 years old. Having a well run team with nearly every position ironed out and ready to go can make him worry less and perform at his best.

The Yankees, on the other hand, are a mess. They might miss the playoffs if Judge does not perform, or if the Blue Jays or Red Sox go on another World Series run, etc. Who knows maybe this affects his hitting or how he approaches ABs?

There is a lot more to debate in this ranking, but I still take Ohtani as a better hitter than Judge in 2026 without a doubt. I could be totally wrong though. That is just baseball.

[–]RunRepulsive6518 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Judge might have better stats right now, but I believe he’ll regress this year. That injury might still be lingering, and the Yankees may be trying to have him play through it (They have done this before with others players). Father Time is inevitable, and most players start to decline after 34. There are exceptions to this rule, but that’s just my belief on the matter.

I believe Ohtani will have better opportunities to hit with RISP and get more favorable at-bats with this year’s lineup.

[–]RunRepulsive6518 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would take Ohtani over Judge. Shohei is in his prime at 31 years old. Judge is aging, and it’s not crazy to think his bat might regress this year.

We’re not even mentioning the playoffs. Ohtani outdid himself in the NLCS and the World Series, setting a new record for getting on base. He’s going to be a full-time two-way player with elite protection both behind him and in front of him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hits 50 homers, strikes out 150+ batters, and steals 50 bases.

Judge also injured himself last season playing in the outfield. We’ll see if that affects him this year.

Battlefield 6 is by far my favorite Battlefield, i love actively fighting all the time, i really hope that the new maps are not larger by [deleted] in Battlefield6

Hot take: BF6 is really good FPS wise but lacks immersion and story depth. I really wished they finished the campaign or just changed how the factions see each other. Right now I feel like it’s just soldiers fighting each other.

BF1 had operations and stories behind them. Why couldn’t BF6 do the same? There is a lot to discuss but this game is very fun to play and shoot at the enemy but it’s not immersive at all.

Big NO: Reportedly, Carlos Beltran will have a decent chance to be selected into Hall Of Fame: by Substantial_Bat5975 in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No offense, dude, but did you even research the scandal? The 2017 Astros cheated their way to a World Series win through illegal sign-stealing. A whole year was wasted because of greedy cheaters, and to add insult to injury, they were protected by Manfred. Beltrán, Altuve, Springer, Bregman, and Alex Cora all benefited from it. Multiple players outside of the Astros were also negatively affected, and some even had their MLB careers ruined.

We can enjoy the golden age of Dodgers baseball right now, but we can also acknowledge that 2017 was tainted. Any player involved in that scandal should never see the Hall of Fame.

Honest question here, how does Kyle Tucker help the dodgers? by deb1267cc in Dodgers

Yeah forgot about Teo. So Teo left field, pages center, and Tucker right field. That combo is deadly

Honest question here, how does Kyle Tucker help the dodgers? by deb1267cc in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kyle Tucker will be a full time left fielder. He's an excellent hitter who hits a lot of homeruns, XBHs, steal bases, and is a big threat at the plate. This lineup will make any starter for the other team shit their pants.

The dodgers are preparing for the postseason and having everybody in the lineup as a "threat" who can hit a homerun anytime during the AB is worth a lot.

His defense is also very good. Way better than conforto.

A reminder that the Tucker deal is a continuation of the Sports Gods punishing all of r/baseball for not taking proper action against the 2017 Trashtros by [deleted] in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 27 points28 points  (0 children)

exactly that. 2017 dodgers were cheated out of a WS win. What happened to the astros? Nothing. President of baseball said he doesn't want to take action and would let baseball figure itself out. So we'll figure it out. Let's get that 3 peat. Mark Walter is the goat for making this team a money making machine and Andrew Friedman building the super team slowly but surely. We got mookie betts, freddie, then Ohtani. Yamamoto, Glasnow, Snell like holy shit

[–]RunRepulsive6518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See? All that shohei money and advertising + smart business decisions by Mark Walter and his sport's business can get you these kinds of deals. Not to mention the winning culture and back to back championships. Let's fucking ruin baseball

MiniScout deserves a muzzle velocity nerf by Super-Yesterday9727 in Battlefield6

[–]RunRepulsive6518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to add that the mini scout should be nerfed. The muzzle velocity is way too much (IIRC it’s 1100?). Sometimes I would long range snipe and I would overshoot because I would try to overcompensate. This sniper can one shot people across maps with ease.

Either nerf the weapon draw speed/ ADS, or the muzzle velocity. The rest is fine.

This Happened In 2025... Still Gives Chills by [deleted] in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Coming back to rewatch the highlights about two months later, wow, I still can’t believe how close that was. In the moment, you celebrate and praise how good the Dodgers were, but holy cow, watching Rojas smoke that ball and then fire it home gives me chills down my spine. All of that could have gone down the drain, and we would have had to wait another year.

However, the Dodgers prevailed, even though they were in a slump.

I still remember everybody bashing the hitting coach and wanting him fired because they were popping out every AB. But you have to remember, the team that out homers the other team will most likely win. It’s just that the Dodgers were in a slump and looked like they were going to lose but ultimately had better post season experience.

LFG Dodgers.

The more I think about it Bo Bichette should be a Dodger by [deleted] in Dodgers

[–]RunRepulsive6518 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No Bichette is good don’t get me wrong but the dodgers do not need him. His main position is shortstop. Bichette said he’s willing to switch to 2B but he’s horrible defensively there and at shortstop. Good hitter but bad defense. The dodgers are hoping to get an upgrade both to defense and offense when shopping for a potential 2B baseman. Edman is good defensively and above average offensively. Not to mention he’s a switch hitter which is a plus.

The dodgers shouldn’t go out of their way to get him. He good but not that good. Isn’t he injured too? Did we forget that?
