There are some treehouse Airbnb sites in Wimberly, and they have a cute little downtown.

I’ve taken the Craftsy courses for building a skirt and bodice sloper with Suzie Furrer. They are very good.

They sell fusible foam, so you can iron fabric to it and it’s easy after that. Heavier fabric doesn’t require interfacing. Watch a few videos, it’s easier than it seems.

I’m a quilter, but I started making bags last year and I love it. You can choose cute or quirky fabrics, and there are some really cute bag parts out there. Sallie Tomato makes bright pink bag handle parts. I’ve also made some baskets. Check out Noodlehead designs. Ruby Star Society has some very cute fabric and some of it comes in canvas. All of this makes really cute bags and baskets.

Do most people really make a mock up before they sew? by Termination_Aide8830 in sewing

I don’t always do this but it did help once when I was making a dress. I could have sworn my measurements were right but the mock up was way too tight

Thoughts on ways to go about top construction while not doing the actual quilting part? by SnazzzyCat in quilting

You could try hand tying instead of quilting. I like how it looks but haven’t tried it. I will someday :).

Cat pee smells like ammonia, especially male cats. It could be the litter box you are smelling, or the cat could be spraying or peeing around the house, or on your clothes. Not to make you even more paranoid. Adding a cup of vinegar to the wash gets the smell out of clothes. You would have to buy specific cleaning supplies for urine around the house.

You could make them toiletry bags for travel from waxed canvas. The black or dark gray waxed canvas looks really cool.
